Our 3 bedroom/2.5 bath two-story home is on a corner-lot in East Nashville. Other homes may claim to be close to downtown, but we're less than 5 minute drive from downtown, 5 minute drive from East Nashville's best restaurants, and 2 minute drive from interstate access. It's the perfect launching point for experiencing any part of the city.
This listing is for our second guest room - a cozy daybed with a brand new twin mattress and brand new bedding. Because this is one of two Airbnb listings in the same residence, we do not allow more than 1 guest in this room, no exceptions.
Nashville MTA runs a route off Dickerson Pike, one block from our house. Their website has extensive details on destinations and route times.
Uber, a locally-driven cab service (no pun intended...) has great rates and quick turnaround times. Check out the mobile phone app.
For the trekkers on foot, the heart of downtown (5th and Broadway) is a straight shot 25-30 minute walk. East Nashville is a bit more spread out, and there are still uninviting blocks sprinkled throughout the area. We suggest walking in pairs/groups during the day and vehicular transportation after sunset as a precautionary measure.
Please message us your approximate check-in and check-out times to show that you have read and understand the check-in/checkout procedures listed in the house manual (sent after confirming a reservation.)
Although I wasn't able to meet Stephen during my stay, his communication prior to my visit was incredibly clear and the space was just as described. Beautiful home with 2 fantastic pups to match!
Even though we didn't get a chance to meet, Stephen made sure I knew everything I needed to know. Nice rustic decor, very sweet dogs and the chalk wall was cool! Clean place and I recommend you stay here!
The room was as described. It was one of two separate rooms with a shared bathroom. Cute little house on a corner lot. Stephen communicated when people were coming and going (cleaning staff, etc.), which I thought was very nice. The dogs were very friendly. It serves well as a "home base" but you will need a car or a ride (LYFT, Uber, taxi) to get almost anywhere. Lyft cards with promotion codes were provided. Although close to the city, it's not the best location if you plan to travel around on foot. In summary, the place was as described with friendly host, but not much happening in and around the neighborhood, so it's a good home base if you plan to drive or catch a ride home at the end of the day or night.
Stephen and Cassidy were both very pleasant. Stephen allowed me to check in early as I had requested . Cassidy was the person I had the most contact with, and she recommended some excellent restaurants, very good tips. I was comfortable in their home and felt that I had privacy even though it was small.
Very nice place. Stephen was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place near downtown and east Nashville.
The hosts were super accommodating to my less than ideal schedule. The house is close to just about everything and is simply adorable. I didn't get the chance to meet Stephen but Cassidy was a doll and I loved talking with her. The room was cute ( I wanted to take the dresser back home home with me) and the dogs were little love bugs. I highly recommend staying here and I will definitely go back when I'm in Nashville again!
This airbnb was lovely and I recommend it to anyone traveling to Nashville. Super close to downtown and East Nashville. I was comfy, warm, and their two doggies were the cutest and kept me company. I will most likely contact them next time I'm in Nashville! Thank you!

Hey! We are Stephen and Cassidy Lynch - newlyweds as of Sept 15, 2012. We're native to Louisiana, but we've called Nashville our home since January 2011. As a traveling musician and wedding photographer, we find ourselves on the road quite a bit. We think the best hosts are the ones that make the space feel like home, and that's certainly what we look for/try to provide in our own space.
