  • My wife and I took our first trip with our two month old son (and 3 year old dog) and it was great. House was the perfect size for us. Very close to the beach, but a bit further (and over hills) to get to town. The peanut M&Ms were a nice touch - sorry if we ate too many.

  • We love this place. It's a tradition now. A great tradition. Clean, homey, great location. We hope to go back often this year. It's our favorite place

  • Beautiful house, lovely hosts, comfortable bed and furniture, lots of sunlight. I spent a week here writing and it was perfect.

  • I have stayed at this fabulous little jewel twice now and have had THE BEST TIME both times. In fact, my boyfriend proposed to me there on Valentines day last weekend, so there will always be a special place in our heart for this adorable little cottage.

The home is very tastefully decorated down to every last detail. Even the paint colors they used are very Pottery Barn-esque. The bed is extremely comfortable with high thread count sheets and tons of comfy pillows. The towels are thick and yummy. The floors are a beautiful deep warm brown. The dishes are all high end with everything a person could need to whip up any meal at all. I love the jar of M&M's in the kitchen and the chocolate bar on the pillow in the bedroom.

The beach is a very quick 5 minute walk down the hill. Last weekend we walked down the beach to Kyllo's, then walked up to the coffee shop, and back to the house on the main roads. It was a perfect 2 mile loop, give or take. There's loads to see and do in the area.

It's just a magical getaway. I can't say enough about how much we love this place. Oh, and Michelle has been absolutely fabulous to work with. Quick with her responses and extremely accommodating.

    10 stars!

  • Delightful location and beautiful house. Just perfect for our family of four.

  • MIchelle's place is wonderful. It is only a short stroll to the ocean and the neighborhood is fantastic. Spotless, and wonderfully decorated ---- she has thought of everything. My husband especially enjoyed the M&M's jar!

Would come back in a heartbeat!

  • The house is in a very cool neighborhood with some great running routes (up hills). The place was very warm, well decorated, and it had all the amenities . . . down to cooking spices, coffee filters, you name it. We had a great stay and would strongly recommend Michelle's house to anyone staying on the coast.

  • Cozy cottage, many amenities, short walk to the beach, responsive hostess.

  • Interested parties will want to know, in few words, if this property is as advertised, and it definitely is. I'd be hard pressed to list any meaningful negatives - maybe a lack of customary condiments for cooking, no plastic cups to bring on your beach walks, and the bedroom could also use a chest of drawers - but that's about it. This home has a good location in both in the neighborhood (not beach front but price reflects this) and coastal orientation. We found Lincoln City to be a nice sized city for shopping & eating as well as a great place for exploration north & south. The place is nicely decorated, comfortable, and has the "feels like home" vibe. In short my wife & I enjoyed our stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to close friends.
