This house is amazing. Someone has either great taste or a fantastic decorator. When you first arrive your eye is fascinated by the little touches including a dolphin flush handle! I won't give a way anymore, but we were comfortable and happy with the neighborhood. We are hoping to try it in the summer.
This place was great! It was clean and cozy in a quiet neighborhood a block from an amazing view of the Oregon coast. The house looks exactly as it does in the picture and the host (never met) was prompt in answering questions via email and the check in and check out were hassle-free. The house is close to a bowling alley, beach access, and really good seafood restaurants and nightlife. You will need a vehicle.
My stay at the Ocean Hideaway was above and beyond my expectations! The view of the ocean each morning and some incredible sunsets, even in December, were a bonus. The pictures perfectly represent the cottage and it's surroundings. It is clean and tastefully decorated and was well stocked and provided all the necessities and more, even for a month long stay. It is located on one of the best beaches for long walks, meeting locals and beach combing. A true gem ! Communication with the host was easy and prompt. Many thanks for sharing your charming spot !
Great place for a relaxing getaway. We had a great time. Cozy home that was super cute and had all the things we needed for the weekend. Great location as it was a short walk to the beach. Highly recommended!
Part of me doesn't want to tell you how fabulous this cute little cottage is because I want it to be available whenever I want it! But, I will suppress my baser instincts because I firmly believe people doing the right thing should be rewarded and encouraged.
This adorable little cottage is as cute as it's pictures. No false advertising there. Additionally, it really is just a block away from the beach. We've vacationed several times in Lincoln City and this is my new favorite place. It's centrally located and VERY quiet and private.
If you want to have a party, this is not the place for you. But if you want a safe, quiet, peaceful, beautiful place where you can hear the ocean all the time, this is your place.
The owner was very easy to work with and the cottage was spic-and-span when we got there. (No small praise coming from me because I travel with my own black light to see how clean bathrooms are. It passed the black light test.)
You can tell the cottage is a lived in house. It has everything you need. All you need to bring are your clothes. I travel with an office box labeled "The Portable Kitchen" and the only thing I need to pull out all week was a garlic press.
This was our first use of AirBnB and I couldn't be happier.
Ocean Hideaway was perfect for our beach weekend getaway. We loved the restful, charming decor, the proximity to the beach, and the opportunity to indulge our inner chocoholic. We would happily stay there again.
Ocean Hideaway is a simple, yet elegant home with lots of natural light, privacy and located in a quiet residential neighborhood with a peek of the ocean.
It is evident out hosts take pride in their home and in return, their guests are respectful and considerate.
Check in and out were seamless. Michelle was available by email and text to promptly answer our questions and offer suggestions for a wonderful stay. We found the place to be exactly as described on the website but even better than expected: absolutely darling, comfortable, clean and well thought out with more than enough amenities.
The short walk from the house to the ocean provided us with a beautiful northerly view of the surf and shoreline allowing us to assess the beach conditions. Beach access was pleasant and lacked the crowds, cars and light pollution from condo/motel/hotels of other beach access points nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed the soothing sounds of the surf from the house.
Ambiance, attention to detail, plenty of amenities and comfort awaits you. We will certainly be making reservations at Ocean Hideaway when we return to Lincoln City.
Our place on the Central Oregon Coast is cozy and in a great location. If you ever have a chance to visit Lincoln City, OR consider staying at the Ocean Hideaway.
Our family enjoys running, yoga, wine, sailing, cycling, food and golf. We enjoy hosting people who have never been to the Oregon Coast and those who already know the beautiful landscape.
Come and enjoy outdoor activities, great restaurants and getting away from it all.
