Sunlit LRG 1 BDRM Living RM + Kitch

Apartment - Entire home/apt · 1st Ave, New York, NY 10003, United States

The Space

Seinfeld's famed Cosmo Kramer sagely described First (avenue) and First (street) as 'the nexus of the universe." Indeed, as it is on the cusp of both the East Village and the Lower East Side, this apartment seems like a cocoon that you can call 'home' in the hustle bustle of the 'Nexus.'

The bedroom is lined with eastward facing windows, which means you will be woken up by the rays of the sun. These windows will give you access to view the day of 1st avenue unfold before you; a relatively quiet part of town in the morning, activity is greatest in the evening as people pop into the local cafes, gastropubs, and taquerias to grab a bite and hang with friends after work.

The apartment's second room serves as a kitchen and living room with a round table and 4 chairs, a comfy couch that can double as a bed for a guest, a flat screen TV, stereo, and kitchen amenities (stove, oven, fridge, dishes, pots, pans, etc). The bathroom, though a little on the small side, has a tub (and showerhead). Wifi (G4) is provided as is basic cable.

The apartment is one block from the F train and a short walk to the B,D, and 6 trains. The uptown bustop is also located right in fron of the apt building. The apartment building has an elevator, for those nights that you are a wee too tired to take the stairs.

  • I stayed in Ziva´s apartment for a week with two friends. We had a great time, and every thing is close by in lower manhattan, and that were we wanted to be. Anyway the metro is around the corner. We had a easy tjek-in and out of the apartment, because Ziva was so flexible, and she helped us out, about what to do in the neighborhood. So if you want to stay down town close to every thing, you have have to stay in Ziva´s apartment....
    I would!!
