Although the house is on the main road leading out of town, do not let this fool you, once you get inside and you are relaxing on the balcony ,glass of bubbles in hand, the beautiful bay in front of you ,its pleasant , its relaxing and quiet. There are other homes about so the odd dog bark or cat call or children laughing may he heard but all in all its pretty quiet and tranquil.

I am origianally from Cape Town South Africa, I lived in the Caribbean for 9 years, based out of St Maarten but exploring the entire island chain from Bvi all the way down to Trinidad, before sailing our little boat across the pacific and onto Tonga where we have now been for almost 6 years. My background is super yachts , sail and motor yachts, where I worked mostly as a Stew/Chef and then onto chief stew. We now call Neiafu, Vavau Tonga, our home, where we own and operate The Boatyard and The Yacht shops with our business partners. Horses and dogs are my life, and we just have a new rescue called Jack, a 20month colt. I love animals , so your fur baby is more than welcome if you come to stay .

During your stay
We do a personal welcome when guests arrive. We do a weekly change over of linens and towels and a general check up on how our guests are doing. As the house runs on municipal water, I usually drop in every other day to bring a barrel of rain water to replace if needed.
