The building was built in 1890, very old. The appearance of the building and hallways should be overlooked by the care we put into the apartment which has old features too. Your comfort during your stay is very important to us. We are reachable and can address any concern within a couple of hrs if need be.

Public transportation (SEPTA) buses right outside of apartment if you wish to visit Penns Landing, Old City, Liberty Bell or Independence Hall. Walking distance to 30th Street Station. Rite-Aid located next to apartment (open 24/7).
One thing I would like to emphasize is how quiet this apartment is for the city. You occasionally can hear the neighbors in the building, but can't hear traffic due to its location on the inside of the building adjacent to the courtyard. Truly a gem if you're looking for a professional and serene atmosphere while still being in the city.

I love pantry adjacent to living area that we all can have a small party and good breakfast. Also, it is a nice location we can walk to many restaurants park and shopping place and also not far from bus. Moreover Dave and Victor are such nice hosts that took care all of us. You can feel free to ask them a question they are friendly.

  • We had a great time at Dave's place. While the apartment is on the smaller side, it was very cozy! There were more than enough sleeping arrangements for our party, which was great! In addition, this apartment is in a great location! We would definitely stay here again.

  • Dave was an excellent host and communicator. It made checking in and out a breeze. The place was in a nice spot (especially if you were catching the bus in or out of Philly) and most things were all in walking distance. It was a little old and cold, but it had all the amenities that you would need. A nice little place that is well set up for the traveler. Thanks again Dave!

  • Dave Parker's apartment is located in walnut street so that the traffic is very convenient. We could easily go to city hall, independence hall, chinatown etc. Also, Dave provided a lot of stuff in his apartment so that life is easier there, like Wii and some small interesting toys.

The place that stored keys was interesting. It was in the paddle lock outside the house. I just want to say thank you to Dave who pointed out where I can find the key.

Any rate, I strongly recommend this apartment because of the convenient transportation, the large apartment and nice host.

  • Second year in a row we've rented from Dave over Labor Day Weekend. His flexibility for and courtesy to his guests makes the trip a breeze. No hassle. Easy to coordinate. Perfect location for a Center City / Rittenhouse Square stay. Thanks for everything.

I (email hidden) that works for a local actuarial company. I love traveling and experiencing all the world has to give. Airbnb has allowed me to reach out in a more personal way both to and as a visitor. I much prefer this approach to a hotel chain.
