  • We had such an amazing time in San Juan and especially in Eduardo's fantastic apartment. Everything about this place is perfect. The view is nothing short of spectacular - it's hard to believe, but even the pictures don't do it justice. It's literally on a great beach, so the convenience is unparalleled. The kitchen is super convenient and well-equipped. The washer/dryer also were great to have. The rooms are comfortable (all have A/C), clean, and spacious, as are the 2 full bathrooms. You're an easy walk away from some great local restaurants (Basilia), a 24 hour convenience store, and a 24 hour supermarket. A mere 10-15 minute drive away is the airport, and, in the other direction, downtown San Juan/Old San Juan. Really there's nothing I can think of that would improve this place. It's just about perfect, and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

  • My 5 friends and I stayed 5 nights in this incredible apartment with a gorgeous beach view and private access. Ed the owner was very accommodating and responsive as we worked out booking details over the months before spring break. The apartment is spacious and comes fully loaded with more amenities than a typical hotel.

Things we found particularly useful: easy access to a popular local beach (Condado), private parking, bathroom and beach towels, in-room full service laundry, beach chairs/umbrella, boogie boards, nice big living/dining area, surround-sound TV with Netflix (the streaming service is a little glitchy), all sorts of utensils/plateware/cups, drinks blender (SOOO USEFUL!!!), easy trash disposal, and lots of board games in case of a rainy day.

The location is situated very close to Old San Juan (I recommend renting a car if you stay longer than 2 days). Our group was able to easily get to Luquillo, Fajardo, El Yunque, Camuy Caves and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Puerto Rico.

  • This apartment is sooo amazing! You can enjoy both ocean view and city view. And it's perfect for a party of five or six people. We stayed at La Concha for the first two days of our traveling. And we found out that this apartment is even better than La Concha! Because it has much more space than a hotel room, and the view of the sea is actually better than what you see in the hotel! The beach is also fantastic. It's less crowded than beaches in hotels. Ed is really nice and friendly. He gave us a warm welcome and briefed us about what to see and what to do. The restaurants he recommended are so delicious! The Brasilia's! I can't recommend more! Thanks Ed, for giving us a wonderful vacation!

  • We had a wonderful experience staying in San Juan in this 3-B apartment. It has all of the accommodations you would want in a location that can't be beat. Everything went as smoothly as possible and we were relaxing comfortably from the first minute. We want to stay here again as soon as we can.

  • The pictures may be hard to believe - but they are spot on (including the view)! What a wonderful stay and host. The beach truly is steps away and we could not believe how conveniently located the apartment is. We have stayed in numerous properties; both from (website hidden) and AirBNB. THis was one of our best experiences - the first ever host to pick us up at the airport! Eduardo gave us a quick tour of the neighborhood, pointed out places to eat and was a wealth of information. Everything we needed was there - beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Eduardo was so responsive to any questions I had prior to arriving - this was a 5 star experience and I HIGHLY recommend it.

  • We had such a great time at Eduardo's apartment. First of all as many others have mentioned, the view is just as good as the pictures if not better. And, the beach is RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR BACK DOOR. Coming from Chicago this was huge. The beach was really clean and never got extremely busy even on weekends, so no worries about going down early to grab your spot. And even if it did get busy, you could just look out your front window to see how many people are there and run down!

The apartment has simple and tasteful furnishings and was clean upon our arrival. Eduardo was traveling for work so his sister, Margarita, picked us up from the airport which was so nice. She gave us some information on things to do and got us familiar with the neighborhood. There is a grocery store (SuperMax) a 10 minute walk as well as a "to go" store that has the basics (snacks, alcohol, sunscreen) just 5 minutes southwest. Getting in and out of the apt once you learn which key to use was very easy. I felt safe in the building and neighborhood. The other tenants in the building were quiet and friendly.

If you walk about 15-20 mins west on Ashford there is a strip of restaurants. We went to Oceano ($$$ but good for apps/happy hour, patio on the beach) and Orozco's (Puerto Rican food, inexpensive, good drink specials). Took the bus (21 or 53) to Old San Juan and you have to go eat at El Jibarito if you want Puerto Rican food. So good and very friendly. There are also a few spots less than 10 minute walk for food/drink by Eduardo we went to (Bar Bero and the wine bar right by it.) There was a cute breakfast/juice bar place right at Calle Taft/Calle Loiza but I can't remember the name right now. If you go about 15 minutes east on Calle Loiza you'll eventually get to Ocean Park, another cute neighborhood and a good beach with a lot of young people.

Eduardo was helpful throughout the entire reservation process. I highly recommend staying here for your trip to San Juan. Additionally, the price of this room is about half the cost of the resorts in Condado and there is no way you could get that view. We are already planning another trip for next winter!

  • The pictures don't lie - the condo and the views are amazing. You will not find a more beautiful place to spend time in Puerto Rico! And if you love soft, sleeping-in-a-cloud beds, aaaah! You will be in heaven.

Eduardo is a wonderful and generous host, picking us up at the cruise terminal after our cruise, and then walked us through the condo, the keys, etc.

If you choose this place for your home away from home, you will not be disappointed.

  • We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as per the photographs.Eduardo was fantastic. He fetched us from the airport, introduced us to the apartment and provided us with relevant information. He also left food and drinks for us. The position of the apartment .right on the beach was ideal. We ate at Pamela's on the beach which we highly recommend for both the food and the setting if you book you can request a table on the beach.
The apartment is spacious and the bedrooms are large. The kitchen is well equipped and there is ample dish washing and laundry powder available. The apartment is also well ventilated as you get a breeze off the ocean . We did not need to use the air conditioning. The apartment has ample lighting through out. We highly recommend it

  • Eduardo's condo was THE PERFECT space for our family vacation!! From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt mesmerized by this gorgeous apartment and it's incredible views. OCEAN, OCEAN, OCEAN in every direction! Floor to ceiling windows open to give you a full sensory reminder that you are vacationing on one of the best beaches in PR. There simply is no better place to stay!

Eduardo couldn't be a more helpful and generous host. This is by far the best AirBnB location I've stayed at. My family and I will return!

  • Best place we've stayed in San Juan!! We have vacationed in San Juan for a week or 2 over the past 10 years. In the past we have stayed at a B&B in this same area. Wanting a different experience, we found Eduardo's Condo. The location was ideal. The photos on the airbnb site do NOT do his place justice---the actual view and experience of that view is better! Easy to get to and get around the area on foot---even the super market. Would defiantly recommend this place and would stay here again.

I am an electrical engineering and my passion is Internet. My main hobby is woodworking. I like to build furniture but not the type that is too convoluted. I do it mostly for my own enjoyment but since my family is relative big I also build for them. I also like photography and from time to time I play piano, flute and the guitar for the enjoyment of my spirit. I used to like tennis a lot but got injured many years ago and could do not play it anymore. I enjoy going to the beach and do some swimming but most of the time I exercise by walking with my wife while chatting about future plans and life together. My wife Ana and I like to travel as much as possible. Here are some countries that we have visited: Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China/Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, almost everywhere in the United States including Alaska and the Aleutian islands and Hawaii, Russia, Hungary, Romania, Italy, Spain, France, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria, Croatia, Greece: Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Turkey, Poland, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Morocco, Malta, Tunisia, Senegal, South Africa: Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Bermuda, Guam, Mexico, Belize, Ecuador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, Venezuela, Brasil, Perú, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Barbados, Martinica, Tortola, US Virgin Islands, Curacao, Grenada, Virgin Gorda, Ireland, United Kingdom: Scotland, England, Denmark , Easter Island and probably some others that I do not remember. So as you can imagine, we understand about traveling and staying in places which nourish and expand our personal experiences. I will be glad to sit and talk to you about some of these countries. I am fluent in English and Spanish so we will not have any problems in communicating. If you speak another language I can get someone from Airbnb to interpret for us. Thank you for reading!
