Located in one of the best square of Venice, just 10minswalking from main attraction such as Rialto. This unique place has all comforts giving you the best Venice experience in town: relaxing standing in a great location!gondola just outside door!!!
Looking for a nice place to stay in Venice? My adorable flat is the place you are looking for. It is located in the heart of Venice, just a short walk from San Marco square, Rialto's bridge and the Academy.
The nearest water bus stop is just three minutes walking way (line 1). This line connects my flat to the rail station and to Piazzale Roma. While Alilaguna, the private water bus for go or come from the airport, is just four minutes from home. Supermarket (5 min), bar, restaurants and shops are just outside on the square in front to the flat.
The flat is on the ground-floor of a typical Venetian building, free from high water. It is composed by a huge living-room, two bedrooms, a very comfortable kitchen and a big bathroom. The kitchen is all equipped; there is a washing machine, a dish washer, a fridge, a freezer, an oven and ironing board, a TV, a drying rack. Air condition is included in the price. Price included everything (cleaning fees, local taxes, linen and towels).
The beauty of the apartment is the canal view that you can see from the living room windows as well as from both bedrooms; gondolas pass from there and you can buy a tour just on the corner of the building.
So enjoy your stay!
For late check in ON REQUEST after 8 pm; IN SUMMER TIME
ON REQUEST POSSIBILITY to rent a wood lodge on the beach (at LIDO di Venezia) for one day for sun and beach lovers (the lodge can accommodate you for daily hours, not for sleeping!);
San Marco, RIalto, Accademia, etc
ALL MAIN ATTRACTIONS ARE JUST AROUND THE CORNER
COMING FROM AIRPORT IS SO EASY BY Alilaguna boat shuttle (LINE ORANGE), direct access to Sant'angelo vaporetto stop.
no smocking, wash their dish using dish washing in correct way, don't use towels as mat, don't put putside the square any furniture (expecially the old style one!), don't move any furniture from one room to an other, don't close the common front door by key, thank you for your cooperation.
This is a simple but comfortable place in a fantastic location in Venice. Very close and convenient to San Marcos and other locations, yet very quiet at night and in the morning. The apartment is very simple, nothing fancy, but is perfectly comfortable. Note that there is no Wifi.
Our time spent in this flat was not the best. While the flat is in a great location, and it is very spacious, there were some large issues we had with the flat that really affected how comfortable we were during our stay. First, it is very important to understand that there is no wifi here, and the tv is about the size of a dinner plate. We had some issues with the host concerning check in, where she mixed up our bookings and had us wait at the wrong location for over 30 minutes without realizing her mistake. We got to the flat 2 hours after we were meant to be there, which cut valuable time off of our trip that we are unable to get back. Regarding the actual flat, it smells horrible. It smells like a mix of mildew and moth balls that has been covered up with loads of cleaning supplies. We were told that we were not allowed to open the windows, so we were unable to air out the flat. The flat has little signs above things like the toilet, dishwasher, and laundry machine letting you know that if you break it you owe x amount of money. I've never seen signs like this, and they were a little intimidating and made us not want to use anything in the flat. It is important to understand that you cannot control the heat or air conditioning while you are here, so make sure you have them change it to where you want. We were unaware and ended up freezing during the night. They were very clear that they wanted the dishes washed in the kitchen, but provided no soap or dishwashing detergent to do so. We were not taught how to open the door to the building, so a good amount of our stay here was spent trying to get in the front door. The key has to be a certain way to get in, and we had a very difficult time with it. I never met the host I corresponded with before staying at this flat, but I would never stay here again. The flat is dated and the smell alone would keep me away.
The flat made us a very amazing stay in Venice. We enjoyed a lot to stay there. It is very easier to find the place and it is well located in venice. It was very tidy and clean when we arrived there. One thing that should have is internet to be easier to organize the tour in Venice and to find places to go and to eat. Thank you very much.
The house was in a good spot. Monica was always very helpful. It would have been nice to have wifi but besides that everything was good.
Our stay in Venice was great and Monica's place was perfect! It is exactly as shown in the pictures, and even better in person. Monica provided directions before we arrived and we found it fairly easily. The place is close to a water bus stop where we were let off and it is located next to some amazing places to eat! Right outside of the front door is a couple of guys running a gondola and they were super friendly and offered us a great deal for a Gondola ride. I would Highly recommend staying here, thank you Monica!
The flat is well located, 5 minutes from the Sant'Angelo vaporetto bus stop. It's on the ground floor and it's quiet and it corresponds to the pictures. It's not a luxury flat but it's rather clean and convenient for 4 persons. The bathroom would deserve some renovation, especially the shower. The only thing I disliked was that the flat is full of rather aggressive notes, like for instance above the toilet: "flush once, if you break it you pay 50€" or next to the heater something like "before you bother me with a phone try this and this and in any case if broken yoy pay XXX". This doesn't render the flat very welcoming. I would suggest removing such notes. Similarly, we were lucky that the (very nice and competent) person who made the first visit with us asked about the temperature because it's not within travellers' reach to change the heating: it's set once for all and you need the owner's key to modify it. Since we were travelling with an elderly person it was fortunate that we could ask for a warmer temperature but in any case if we would have wanted to increase or decrease it that would have been a hassle to call, wait for someone to come and fix it and so on. Overall we had a nice experience and I recommand it to other travellers and I hope that my comment will be helpful for Monica and Milena to improve even more their nice apartment.
