Stay in a private apartment close to town and transportation, no car needed!

The Space

Spend your time walking distance from the beach, at a local winery, fishing on the Sound, or sitting on an enclosed porch, watching the world go by!

We have a private, furnished 1BR apartment available in the Village of Greenport, on Long Island's beautiful North Fork.

Located on a quiet, residential street walking distance from both LIRR & Hampton Jitney, you'll be a 4 block walk from town, a 5 block walk from a local beach, and close to the Shelter Island Ferry for additional outings.

Fishing charters also available from town docks!

We are walking distance from the LIRR and Hampton Jitney stations -- no car needed if you're coming out from NYC! (Hampton Jitney has more schedule options and is a great ride -- make a reservation in advance, tho!).

Apartment features 1BR with full-size bed, dresser, full bath (shower only), extra large kitchen (with coffee maker & basic supplies), living room w/couch, and SmartTV with Netflix/Amazon access.

There's also an enclosed front porch, and wireless DSL access.

Bikes (2) are available for use as well, on request! Just let us know when you reserve and they'll be ready for you.

Provisioning also available with advance notice.

New to the North Fork? Happy to make arrangements for you for:

- Breakfast / Coffee options (in-home or away)
- Dinner reservations at local restaurants
- Bike rentals
- Kayak / SUP rentals
- Wineries and tastings
- Jitney reservations

NOTE: This is a private, 2 family house, and the level being rented is the upper level of this house. Lower level is owner-occupied, but the rental area has a very private feel.

This is a perfect rustic apartment for singles/couples looking to get away from city life. As there is a steep staircase here, we don't recommend the space for people with small children.

Pets welcome on a case-by-case basis, additional cleaning fee of $30 for guests with pets.

Additional supplies avail. let us know what you need:
- Volleyball / Basketball
- Coleman cooler (small)
- Inner tubes
- Boogie board
- Tennis racquets
Rate posted is per night, weekly rentals available.

2-night minimum for general stays.
3-night minimum Memorial Day/Labor Day Weekend

Check In
  • We had a great time staying at Rosalie's house. The space is very private and cute. Rosalie was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of information about the town and things to do as we were new to the area.

  • Rosalie was very helpful and available. The place was nice, clean and exactly as described. We had a great time here and hope to come back sometime!

  • This is an adorable apartment in an excellent location! There are many cute and clever touches to the decor, and the host even left us a bottle of prosecco. Although I never got to meet Rosalie in person, communicating with her was quick and easy. This is a great place to stay in Long Island, and we wished we could have stayed longer.

  • Rosalie was a great host and always happy to answer our questions. The apartment was just what we were looking for. The location was great--a short walk into town, to the bus/train station, and to the local beach. Rosalie provided everything we needed and more, including many recommendations for activities and restaurants. It was nice to have access to a kitchen too. Greenport in general is a wonderful town. We were very happy with the experience.

Thanks! So glad you had a great visit!

  • Simple and supportive, Rosalie had all our questions answered before we had even thought of them. The apartment had everything ready for us as soon as we arrived, including the pleasant additions of free bikes and a bottle of wine. Best of all, when we missed our window to avoid Sunday afternoon traffic back to NYC, Rosalie let us check out late.

  • We were fortunate to have near perfect conditions for our stay Sunday thru Tuesday. Perfect weather, no crowds, easy to get around, laid back locals. Accommodations were well coordinated by our host prior to our arrival and our hosts were happy to provide additional tips during our stay. The neighborhood was safe and 10-15 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Town beach, 5 blocks south is worth a visit.

  • Rosalie's house is a fantastic! She is such a gracious host and was incredibly inviting. You're getting a private, quiet apartment with all of the furnishings and then some. We couldn't have asked for a better place on our trip to Greenport. Rosalie was more than prompt with her replies and she was super helpful with giving recommendations. If you're going to Greenport (or anywhere on the North Fork), Rosalie's is the place to stay.

  • I brought my husband to Greenport as a surprise weekend trip for his birthday and we both loved it. Rosalie goes the extra mile in terms of communication and making you feel comfortable. The space is cozy and rustic, but a perfect beach place. It is also centrally located and takes about 10 mins to walk to all of the great restaurants and places you want to be. She prepared a great document on things to do and see in the area. We used the bikes she left to explore the nearby wineries and Shelter Island. Also, we brought our toy yorkie poo. Rosalie had pointed out dog friendly places and we were able to take him everywhere during the day. Great trip and great place. I highly recommend Rosalie's place and Greenport.

    Response from Rosalie:

Eeek! You're so right about Claudio's -- which is why I never recommend it, tho it's the only spot for music on the water (if you can put up with it). Glad you enjoyed the area!

  • 100% what we were looking for. Great location, great space. Rosalie was helpful, flexible and kind. Loved it. Highly recommended!

  • Rosalie's place is perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay in Greenport. Her small house is charming and very well located. Being able to use bikes for free is also great. Biking from beaches to wineries is simply the best thing to do in the area.
