The local Creans Beer is a big favourite with us , and this year we have a new Whiskey ( or is that Whisky?! ) section in the bar ..
Note : There are two showers , on is attached to the main double bedroom and is a straight forward dial type . The other is an electric shower and the switch is on the linen cupboard at the top of the stairs . It is hot automatically. The hot water switch is also in this cupboard and has a sink setting and a bath setting. If the heating is on the water will be warm so the water will get pretty HOT if you choose to switch on the water heating too. YOu may find that you don't need it .
Ther are plenty of board games in the living room , and also an iron and ironing board , Upstairs there is a hair drier and shampoo and body wash and toothpaste .
If you feel like lighting a fire please get fuel in the supermarket or fuel merchants ( unless there is some in the place already which may be the situation in winter )

John Benny and Eilis were charming and friendly and quickly dropped what they were doing to welcome us and show us around the cottage. The cottage itself was clean and well-equipped and quite lovely, especially the patio area. It felt like a home, and we found ourselves looking forward to walking back up to it, every day.
Top marks for John Benny's cottage rental. The cottage has everything you'll need for your stay in Dingle, not to mention it's on the same property as the best pub in town, John Benny Moriarty's pub, great food , great pint and great music....a triple threat! The cottage nicely decorated and beautifully maintained and 3 bathrooms, we couldn't believe our good fortune we arrived. We have been renting many places on our trip and this one takes top prize, rent it, you won't be disappointed.
We loved this place. It is up a few flights of stairs behind a pub right on the Dingle Harbor, but there was really no noise at all. John Benny Moriarity is a busy man, running a pub and restaurant and some nights playing music there as well, but he definitely made time to make us feel welcome, to check in periodically asking if we had any problems and to give us advice about the town. I received a package at the pub after I had left to return to the USA, and John Benny forwarded it to me but refused to accept any compensation.
The cottage was as advertised, not sleek and new, but quite comfortable and homey and the price was right.
Dingle is not a large town, and we were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go from this location.
I would recommend this to friends, and if you have a chance to hear music on a night that John Benny is playing I would advise that you not miss it.
We had a wonderful stay in Dingle at John Benny's cottage. The cottage was clean and spacious and quiet. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs so this cottage would be perfect for a family or 2 couples. The location was great. We could walk to a restaurant and stop in at John Benny's pub to listen to authentic Irish music. The cottage even had a washing machine for laundry. John Benny was very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this for a stay in Dingle.
The apartment in Dingle was exactly as described. Great location to experience Dingle. Parking wasn't included... But it was not a problem to find close parking on the street. No need to drive once you are in town. I would highly recommend this location! Don't miss Dingle if you are planning a trip to Ireland!
John Benny & Eilís's cottage was the perfect home base for a holiday in Dingle. They were friendly and welcoming. The cottage was spacious for four adults, with all modern conveniences, and everything worked well. The location is amazing...literally steps from everything in the town, yet quiet and secluded, with pastoral landscapes out the back window of sheep, meadows, and herons. There is a lovely private garden with table and chairs to relax in. The back garden gate is beautiful and leads to the meadow and a private path down to the town and harbor. Another bonus, the pub! Eilís was playing the night we arrived, wonderful traditional Irish music and great food and drink, literally steps away! We will be back!
