I have lived in Santa Fe for over 30 years and work in the ski and construction industries. I will respect your quiet and privacy and yet be available to share tourist information and personal recommendations.
As a long-time resident who skis, hikes and dances (salsa and two step), I will be able to direct you to trails, clubs and restaurants that are popular with locals.
I provide guests with maps and an abundance of tourist information, including my personal recommendations of restaurants, shops, day trips and local events.
This beautiful neighborhood of large estate properties is distinguished by the large native pinon and juniper trees and is home to wildlife and mountain views in all directions.
For optimal access to all that Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico have to offer, it is best to have a car. If you do not have a car, it is possible to combine walking with public transportation, tour companies and taxis.
Be sure to check flight connections directly into the Santa Fe airport (SAF). Rental cars are very reasonable if booked in advance or the shuttle from the Santa Fe airport will bring you directly to my home.
No smoking or pets in home.
Mary Anne was very welcoming, the house was lovely with a tremendous view. We had so many activities planned for such a short time span we didn't do more than sleep in that comfortable bed when we got back each evening. This was a very positive experience for us.
Mary Anne has written a booklet for her guests, entitled "Welcome to My Home." The title captures the entire experience of staying with her. She is lovely, professional, interesting, fun, and generous with her ideas of places to go and things to do. The bedroom is large and graciously furnished; the bed is huge and comfortable; the bathroom clean and light; and there's a wonderful space to organize your suitcase and belongings. The woodwork throughout the house is gorgeous. Mary Anne also welcomed us to the kitchen, porch with grand views over the mountains, and cozy livingroom space. The location is perfect - on Museum Hill with spectacular views to the mountains, and a very short walk to the museums. We spent three days there - they flew by - and we left trying to figure out how to get back soon for a longer visit. Many thanks for a wonderful stay in Santa Fe!
It was the most incredible place. Beautiful and well kept. I would love to come back for an extended stay!
Our host Mary Anne made us feel very welcome. She was extrordinarily attentive and gave us great suggestions. The listing was all and even more of what we expected and of what was advertised on Airbnb. We would love to stay there again.
This was my second visit to Maryanne's home. This time I was in the bigger room, which was lovely, very comfortable and very private. Maryanne is friendly and welcoming. On this visit, I took Maryanne up on her offer to cook in her kitchen. And once again I enjoyed spending time talking with her. Her home is in easy walking distance of Museum Hill where we enjoyed walking in the Botanic Garden and visiting the Wheelwright Museum. I highly recommend this b&b.
We loved our visit with Mary Anne. Her home was lovely, so beautifully decorated, you definitely had a feel for her as a person. We felt at home, we had privacy but also her home was totally accessible to us. Her porch was amazing, I could have just lived out there! What a view! It was so nice to talk with Mary Anne, learn a little about her adventures, get to know her as a person. She was very informative about the area with lots of good suggestions. Her home is set high up on Museum Hill which is a nice change from being in town but still easily accessible to everything. We really hope to return to the area and would definitely try to stay at Mary Anne's.

I am a long-time resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico who enjoys the great variety of outdoor and cultural activities available here. I am an enthusiastic traveller and love to share experiences and recommendations with others who love to explore. There is so much to love about Santa Fe, and my favorite thing is the four-season climate.
I am a custom home builder and a ski instructor. Between home building, skiing, hiking and gardening, I spend a lot of time outdoors. I do enjoy eating out in Santa Fe and have my favorite spots, but am spending more time exploring vegan cooking at home.
