About this listing
Bedroom for one person or a couple. Our house is in a neighborhood called Ryd, which is very close to university. The city of Linköping it´s about 15 minutes by bike
Our place is typical swedish in many ways.
We have our own yard with three houses and several greenhouses. It´s like living in a countryside but still in the city. Our house is in the middle of forest and we don´t have any neighbours. That´s why our place is very quiet and very swedish.
You´ll have access to:
Living room with TV
Extra bed (if needed)
Bike (by agreement)
Car (by agreement)
We´ve been living in same place for more than a decade and we really love it. It´s full of life becase of all students who live around but there is the villa area too.
It´s close to the city and the shopping area, called Tornby Shopping Center which is the second largest in Sweden. There you´ll find IKEA and IKANO shopping mall with different stores and restaurants. Only 10 minutes to Linköping University, 15 minutes to Linköping City and 10 minutes to Tornby, by bike of course.
You have the public transport just two minutes of walk from the house. If you have a car we offer you a parking place too. And if you need a transport from train station or airport we can come and pick you up by car, by agreement. We have a bike too you can borrow during your stay here, for free of course but let me know before.

Fatons house is great if you're looking for some relaxing days in a green area but still easy to get to.
We enjoyed reading on the balcony and cooking dinner in the spacious kitchen.
Faton and his family were very nice, we felt welcome and comfortable.
If you're arriving by bus and you've got heavy luggage you should mind that there are about 150m on the way from the bus stop to the house without pavement.
Thanks for everything!
Wonderful House in a wonderful place! Faton and his family are really kind, I feel "at home"
Faton and his mother are very kind hosts. It was really nice of Faton to offer us the bigger room while we've booked the small room - without asking extra charges. The room and bed were big indeed! The bed was really comfortable, we had a good and calm night. In the morning we had a nice chat with Faton and were offered a good cup of coffee by his mother. Tack så mycket!
Great communication and very service minded host. Although we came in the middle of the night. We received a warm welcome. The location is easy to find by gps and a supermarket is near by. The area is nice and quite, one can really get a good rest. This is definitely our first hand choice to stay in the area.
A very short stay - barely 12 hours, as my daughter and I had a flight out at 6:20 in the morning. Lovely, quiet country-side setting, 15 - 20 minutes from the airport by car, and 15 minutes to town by car. Faton's mother sweet and hospitable.
Faton was an great host! Definitely recommend it should you pit stop in Linköping!
I spent one night here so it was a short stay for me and I am happy I got to stay there. Not much to say about the experience, the house truly has an average swedish layout, so I felt very much at home. Their local center is 15 away by foot where you can find buses to the center. The room was a little chilly, but not problem with that as his brother whisked me up an extra cover from the living room. I actually got the introuduction from him rather than Faton himself, I had caught him in a very stressful period! He was always friendly though, both of them are, and from what I've gathered, Faton is a very straightforward, no fuss no muss guy who goes the extra mile for his guests. All in all, it lives up to the description and it might be better suited for longer stays.
Minor disapoinment; the bathroom wasn't clean.

About the Host, Faton
My name is Faton.
I love traveling, been to 24 countries but never outside of Europe. Airbnb is a new experience for us and we love it. It's an excellent opportunity to meet people and learn more about the culture and the country.
I love sports and I've been playing basketball since I was a kid. I also love music and movies and of course to socialize with family and friends. I've been singing in a choir almost in 9 years and I play some piano and djembe.
We look forward welcoming you to our place and we will do our best to make your stay unforgettable.
Greetings from Linköping! / Faton, Nora and Leo
