Response from Winfred:
Hi Iris, Thanks for your coment. As I told you that I tried to settle electricity before in another way( free if guest(s) stay for a couple of days) unfortunately on many occasions I took notice that people left with lot' s of lights on. On the averidge when you take care the electricity won' t be a huge amount (as in your case when three persons stayed) . I made the conclusion that it is fair to everyone to count by the electricity meter, people who are taking care pay few....on the average the spending for a long weekend will be around a 5-7 dollars totally which can be paid in local currency , euro's or US dollars.
