Jeff and I were in the area for three days. We are so pleased that we chose to stay at Sheila’s Cozy Cottage in Peterborough. It was a great price and is a 10 minute walk into town. Sheila’s home had a simple and rustic flair set in a New England village. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, with a private entrance to our room.
We had the most wonderful time at Sheila's home. Sheila was extremely helpful at accommodating our schedule and providing us tips to visit the surroundings. The room was tidy and very charming, with access to a lovely garden. And last but not least - just the breakfast is worth the detour! We will definitely come back for another NH expedition.
It has been a wonderful experience staying at this New Hampshire home of Sheila. She is a gracious and kind host who provides you with a comfortable environment for your stay. I was fortunate to have delicious breakfasts with Sheila, listening her stories. She is a very interesting storyteller and a talented painter. She has lived in Peterborough for a long time and is very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and local attractions. She made my stay in Peterborough comfortable and welcoming.
Thank you, Sheila
This is a very convenient location to any activities in or near Perterborough, NH and I appreciate the modest fee as we were simply looking for a place that is comfortable to sleep and rest between events.
I stayed with Sheila during February 2015, while recuperating from a serious injury. She created an environment in which I could recover in her home conveniently located near downtown and made every effort to be accommodating -- even if it inconvenienced her. Sheila also has a wealth of knowledge about Peterborough and the surrounding area. I strongly recommend you stay with her if you're coming to the Monadnock region.
Shiela was very welcoming. Yes it was a cozy cottage. If you want personal, intimate &scan share a bathroom this is the place. Day after lots of snow &nice . Sheila's son helped me clean off my car. Yes would do it again.
