Beautiful INNER CITY heritage listed (1880's) boutique guest house. Situated in quiet street within walking distance to the CBD. This is our largest room and has a small view of the City skyline in particular, Brisbane's Suncorp clock and around!!
All rooms have large beds are made up with Sheridan linen and bath towels for your ensuite. Each room has a large flat screen TV and you can connect to our wi-fi, with a complimentary 2gb worth of data for your stay.
The kitchen is available if you wish to cook basic things. There is a fridge, microwave, small stove top, electric cooker, kettle, toaster, pots and pans and crockery. Most of our guests don't cook however because of our location - there are just so many restaurants for a decent price not even a minutes walk from where we are! This is why we don't put on breakfast.
There is a laundry on site for your convenience with an outdoor clothes line.
Situated in quiet street within walking distance to the CBD, South Bank, State Library, Theatres (Movies and Playhouses), Cultural and Convention Centres. Less than 2 minutes walk to Bohemian West End with it's associated array of cafes, restaurants, bars, night life and famous markets.
We are located in Zone 1, which is the inner city. You can walk in and around the inner city. There are Brisbane City Council bicycle which you can rent, please (website hidden) this! And public transport (bus, city cat, train) is very frequent in Zone 1. You may use your ticket interchangeably on these methods of transport!
Buses run 24 hours from our house into the city on weekends.
Other Things to Note
The air train is the suggested method to get to our home from the airport. All information can be found online, but costs approximately $15 per ticket and you would get off at South Brisbane station for a short 5 minute walk to our house.
If you have more luggage or are arriving later than the air train times, a taxi would be the better option, which costs approximately $55 from the airport to our door.
The house is quiet and our guests generally are very considerate of the peaceful nature of the house. Therefore we turn the lights out in the communal areas of the home (kitchen) at 9:15pm to ensure all guests will have a uninterrupted and peaceful night sleep.
The host called me when I was running late to ensure I was okay and could access the property and my room. This property is located very close to the main street and restaurants of West End. It is a beautiful heritage home that truly reflects the photos and descriptions on Airbnb. My room had great views back to the Brisbane CBD and surrounding area.

Incredibly beautiful 19th century guesthouse with gorgeous fittings, beautiful bathroom and a sense of history. Big shared kitchen and nice outdoor seating area. Easy ten minute walk to Southbank and a few minutes from the cafes and bars of West End.
Kate was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and went out of her way to give good tips, deal with wifi issues and sort out air conditioning in a heatwave and send back something I left behind (sorry!).

Wonderful! Made me feel very welcome. It is a wonderful place that they have created. TThe room was HUGE!!! Loved the large windows and the breeze flowing through. The bathroom was huge too. Just loved the very, very comfortable bed!!!
My stay in Brisbane was perfect. Nice and clean rooms in a beautiful heritage house just a few blocks from the convention center. Lots of good restaurants and cafes around, but the house itself sits in a cozy street just away from the busy streets, so you don't have to worry about noise or anything. There is supermarket just one block from the house as well, which helps. Kate was a great host and communication was spot on and on time. Definitely recommend!
