I stayed in Glenn's beautiful listing with my husband and baby. We wanted a relaxing break away from the city in a unique place and this is exactly what we got. The listing was spacious with plenty of character and the outside space (bbq area, seating by the river, games area) was a very welcome bonus. Glenn greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour and a bit of the history of the uses of the property. He showed us everything we needed to know and was available if we needed him. He left plenty of towels for us and little things that came in handy during our stay, like tourist guides. It was great to have a nice TV with movies to watch and a nice big dining table to eat at. The listing is right on the main street of Sradbally so we could walk and bring back fresh coffee / breakfast in the morning (or eat out too). There is a supermarket and local eateries close by or Portlaoise is very close by car which has more shops / restaurants. We used Glenn's listing to visit a few local tourist attractions such as the Rock of Dunmasse. I would really recommend it as a base to explore Laois or for those wanting to unwind in peaceful striking surroundings. Glenn is an A+ host who was quick to respond throughout the whole process from booking to us checking out. Thanks Glenn!
We absolutely loved our stay at Glenn's place. It was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to cook. We have a two year old and she loved all the space inside and out to run around. It is such a neat building with lots of special characteristics. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
We had an excellent stay. We were a party of four and stayed for one week. Glenn is a great host. He was helpful with anything we needed or any questions we had. The house was as promised and very clean. Very affordable. There is a large outdoor space that is beautiful and has room for badminton, croquet, etc. There are also a few pubs pretty close to the house and the locals were all very friendly. The house is located close to the motorways, making daytrips easy. Highly recommended!
This is the most amazing place. Glenn was a fantastic host who gave us a great tour of the many facilities. Stradbally is a lovely town too for a quiet weekend away. Top marks all round, we had a great stay!
