The First ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall-Smith begins at the foot of Kagle Hill. It is the prettiest part of Gaborone with the hill a 5min drive away where there are great tracks for running and hiking. One of the largest shopping centres in town is a convenient 5 min drive away too. Close to the city centre yet out of town, our house is ideal for those wanting to relax in nature after meetings or sight seeing. Mokolodi Game reserve is a short drive away where game drives can be booked.
Guests will have their own private bedroom and bathroom with shared access to the living area, kitchen and garden.

Annig has lived in this house for 20 years. Originally belonging to TEBA (The Employment Bureau of Africa), she bought it 10 years ago and renovated keeping it close to the original style with cement floors and enclosed verandah. It is one of the older houses in Gaborone. Guests are given any local information they require and generally have the shared areas to themselves. English, Spanish and French spoken.
A quiet neighbourhood in natural surroundings with abundant bird life next to the Gaborone dam. The Game City centre with shops, restaurants and cinemas is a 5 min drive away. There is a clinic, a school, an environmental office park and several houses in the small community.
Local transport in Botswana are the combi taxi which seat 12 people. The nearest stop is St Joseph's School which is a 10min walk from the house. These go to Game city where one can connect to most other routes. Alternatively, a private taxi can pick you up and take you anywhere in town for around €6.
