Interaction with guests
This is your separate, private space; a stand alone apartment. We provide the basics of a Continental breakfast - fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, bagels. We also stock the refer with some basic foods and you are welcome to cook in the fully tooled kitchen (There is a waffle iron and mix if you are so inclined). Please consider this your home away from home. I am in the rear apartment and normally onsite or readily and quickly available for questions or assistance. If you have any issues or problems please contact me immediately.
Other things to note
Weekends require a 2 day booking.
There are 40 miles of hike and bike trails along the Ohio River less than a mile away.
There is a Zero Bus Stop (free trolley to downtown) across the street - Trolley Hop happens every first Friday, a great chance to visit local artists, clubs and eateries.
There are extra (just in case) toiletries (razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes and toothpaste) in the bathroom. There is also a first aid kit in the bottom left drawer in the bathroom.
We strongly encourage recycling - to aid in that process we have a recycling container in the back hall. Louisville recycles almost everything - all plastics (except grocery bags - they have a separate container), glass, metal and paper. Please thoroughly rinse all bottles, glass and metal containers - thanks.
There are other people living in the building, so this is not a party house. Your activities will need to be at a noise level that can not be heard outside of your space. No smoking in the house. No drugs. We love guests! All of them need to be registered with us, there is no extra charge. Any violent or threatening behavior will result in an immediate, non-refundable termination of your rental.
We have a registration process which includes a signed rental agreement and a signed copy of the house rules. We look forward to sharing our space with you.
Sorry - no pets.
This a separate, stand alone apartment, so you will have all the privacy you need. Let us know how we can make your stay perfect!!
