This is a small 2-bedroom apartment on a 3rd floor of a 6 flat vintage walk-up building. It's located between trendy Chicago neighborhoods - Ukrainian Village, River North, Bucktown, Wicker Park and Old Town. Close to public transportation, bus to downtown is a block and a half away and takes about 15 - 20 minutes to get to the city center and runs quite frequently, Blue Line that goes to airport and the loop is within 5-minute walk. 15 minutes to Michigan Avenue with Chicago Avenue bus #66). Up and coming neighborhood, great restaurants, bars, coffee shops within minutes of walking distance. Bedroom comes with a queen bed, kitchen is fully furnished. Wifi. Netflix and Apple TV installed on 50" Plasma. Easy parking on the street and back in the alley. Not zoned and free.
I turned second bedroom into a storage/walkin closet where I keep my personal belongings. When the apartment is booked, I don't stay there so you have complete privacy.
Looking forward to hosting!
Interaction with Guests
No loud music, respectable, responsible.
My wine glasses don't go in the dishwasher, please leave them to be washed by hand -I'll be much happier to find them dirty on the counter than clean in the dishwasher :)
Absolutely loved the experience! Zenya was helpful from the moment we booked her place all the way to the end of the trip. Would recommend to anyone.
Zeyna was very helpful and responsive. The apartment was comfortable, open, attractive, and in an ideal location for us, in a quiet area.
Lovely place, saved lots by parking my car on the street right in front of the building, hotel like Bed and Towels, easy access to Subway and buses. Safe neighborhood... I could go on and on, just read all the other great reviews for this place, and even though I did not meet Zeyna, she was very helpful and we stayed in touch through messages.
I had a great time in Chicago...thanks to this amazing city but also thanks to Zeyna`s warm welcoming and her nicely done up apartment. I spent five wonderful nights at her cozy flat.
Zeyna goes to great pains to make her guests at home. She is a really tenderly person and always caring about the needs and wishes of her guests... before and during your stay. She took time to show me the accommodation including all appliances that are essential for your survival (how to brew your morning coffee among other things;-) and she gave lots of handy tips to get familiar with the 'windy city' and the neighborhood and answered all questions I had (and this was quite a lot ;-). Not to mention the most comfortable bed I ever slept in ... it`s like resting on soft clouds :-) Moreover she provided fresh towels and a lot of space for your clothes.
The surroundings of the accommodation are pleasantly quiet but at the same time you have a lot of options to go out with a variety of good restaurants in close proximity. The Chicago blue line station of the 'L' is in a short 8 minutes walking distance. And a further 10 minutes ride with the 'L' you are in the city centre of Chicago. Another five-star rating for the location of the flat and the linkage to the city.
What else can I say:
Thank you, Zeyna, you made my stay perfect.
Easy check in and out. Super close to the train. Worked perfect for Riot Fest.
For our first Airbnb experience, Zeyna was a perfect guest. Despite our late arrival everything was well organized. The appartment is nice and really comfortable with everything you could need. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe and close to buses and metro to reach downtown in a few minutes. We can highly recommmand Zeyna's place.
Zeyna met us at her apartment and was very friendly and informative.
The apartment was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed for the week we stayed there. At first glance the street appears downtrodden, but this is not true. It is a safe, quiet and "Up and Coming area" and we enjoyed staying there. The local restaurants were fun to explore. I would highly recommend this apartment.
