About this listing

The space

Our charming appartment is located in the „Gräfekiez“ - a very upcoming neighbourhoud of Berlin-Kreuzberg. Just walk out the door and you will find nice restaurants, cosy cafés, vivid bars, supermarkets, organic food shops and interesting stores everywhere. If you have children you will find a playground here and a nice park close to the appartment. It is two blocks away from Neukölln, another very lively and interesting area that is developing artistically the last years. From the appartment a lot of things are perfect to do by bike, like the neighbourhouds Prenzlauerberg, Friedrichshain or the city center Mitte. Central tube station „Kottbusser Tor“ is 5 mins walk away and there is also a bus stop 1 min away which brings you to all the hot spots like Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz, Gropius Bau, Neue Nationalgalerie etc. The Hasenheide park, one of the biggest parks in Berlin, around the corner is perfect if you want to do some sports.

If you are into nightlife there are several venues like Lido, Astra, o2 World, Festsaal Kreuzberg or Gretchen you can reach easily on foot.

Both train stations, Berlin Hauptbahnhof and Ostbahnhof, are 10 mins away by bus or train.
Both airports, Tegel and Schönefeld, are 30 mins away by bus or train.

The appartment is perfect for a couple or 2 persons and there is an extra mattress for a 3rd person if necessary. There is a nice kitchen with all the supllies you need and a clean bathroom incl. a bath tub. WiFi and cable tv is available, too. Bike rental, parking space is no problem. It´s light and quiet.

Just around the corner, by the Landwehr-canal, is a big turkish farmer´s market with fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and everything you need. In the summer its perfect to have breakfast around that area next to the canal. You can also book a sightseeing boat trip from here.

Last but not least there´s a hospital nearby - fingers crossed you don´t need it.
And: our dog will certainly NOT be there.

Lovely apartment in a cute neighbourhood. Place was fully equipped. The communication was excellent, we arrived in Berlin really early and Cornelia and Klemens were very accommodating with that, allowing us to leave our bags early in the day while they were getting the apartment ready. Would recommend!

The apartment was even better than in the pictures! Nice high ceilings, cosy kitchen, a beautiful living room with a little seat in the bay window and a lot of books. Quiet bedroom with enough space to put up a little cot for our daughter. You don't have to take a lot of stairs to reach the apartment as it is located on the raised ground floor, also very convenient if you have a little girl, shopping bags and a stroller with you. We've stayed in this neighbourhood many times before, so we know where to find the nice shops, take-away restaurants and market. Everything (also the subway) is a stone throw away from the apartment. Cornelia and Klemens are wonderful hosts. Unfortunately we didn't meet them, but the communication was friendly and quick. We would definitely would like to come back next time!

The location of the apartment is perfect. There are a lot of cafe's and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Cornelia was very helpful and responsible host! Although she was not there, I was good instructed. I would highly recommend this apartment and hope to be allowed to stay in it again one day!

The apartment is exactly like the pictures show you and feels warm and cosy. Unfortunately we didn't met Cornelia and Clemens as they were on holidays themselves, but everything was arranged quite wel and as extra welcome there were some nice sweet tiny presents for us which we enjoyed. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The apartment is spacey and bright and was clean when we arrived. The area is pretty nice with lots of really nice restaurants of all "colors" in less then 1km or even 400 meters. The area is compared to other parts of Kreuzberg quite though. That means you can't eat here 24 hours a day a Döner and there are no people on the streets 24 hours a day which will be a positive element for many, however some will prefer that there's happening something anytime also during the night. We hope to be back once and like to say thank you to Cornelia and Clemens.

We had a great experience ! Thats the best neighbourhood in berlin . Very quiet but yet so alive , packed with restaurants and bars ( manouch was our favourite , 1 min from the apt. , and zitrone is a nice restaurant too) . The u bahn is 10 min walk from the apt. , not too close but not so bad. The apartment looks just like the pictures and for indie rock lovers it would be heaven when it comes to books and music (there was an electric piano too !! ). We didnt get to see the hosts but they answered quickly every time we needed and made sure we feel good . We certainly recommend staying there ! We enjoyed our time there very much ;)

I went to Berlin with my wife two weeks ago and we had a wonderful stay in Cornelia & Klemens's apartment. It is exactly like in the pictures - big, clean and cozy. What a pleasant surprise when we arrived! The hosts left us a bottle of a german wine with some great tips about the neighborhood. I really recommend this place!

This place was amazing. It's exactly like in the pictures. The owners were gone by the time we got there, so they organised for the neighbour (who was also very kind) to let us in. The owners had left us a couple of wine and some crisps, which was a really nice touch. The place is big, nice and cozy, the bed is comfortable, the shower is great. They have coffee makers and all sorts of normal commodities - TV only in German though, but no big deal, if you're in Berlin you shouldn't be watching tv anyway. The wifi works fine. The area is really nice, full of cafes, but also quiet at night, and super safe. It's quite close to other busier areas of Kreuzberg to party at night (10 min walk), and you're very close to the metro, but you can actually walk to Alexanderplatz (50 min). It's a really nice area to stay at, and really well communicated. It was the perfect location and the perfect place. The owners had left contact numbers and recommendations for us. Really fantastic place, would love to come back!

Hi, we are a young couple from Berlin working in the media industry (film & music). We have a little foxterrier as well and love the idea of going to new places. As we don´t like hotel so much we think Airbnb is a great idea!
