Great communication and information. Absolutely met our expectations and we will rent again.
Especially for first time visitors to the Bay Area, Michelle's house has real wow factor: views to die for, lots of sunshine, total peace and quiet at night, a few minutes walk to organic artisan everything, and not much longer to get to the city by car or - better still - by ferry. Meanwhile cycling, hiking and surfing are all easily available heading the other way, avoiding the city traffic.
As this is our first family holiday to California we felt obliged to tour but frankly with all these possibilities we could have happily stayed put in Sausalito. Maybe next time!
We really enjoyed our 4 days stay at Michelle's house - the views are great, the accommodation is very comfortable and we enjoyed Sausalito and its accessibility into SF. The best of both worlds!
We really enjoyed our time in Sausalito. We spent a day sailing & another in Napa Valley, so having a base in Sausalito was so convenient.. Wish we had more time...
Michelle was "always there" for us even though we never met her. She was a real friend. The house was out of a dream, simply magical.
Thanks for stopping by! We have lived in and visited many parts of the U.S and the world. Personally, although I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently reside and work in Singapore, the San Francisco Bay Area will always be home for me. The energy of the Bay Area runs through my veins and I know that it is the place that we will eventually move back to.
No matter where you end up staying while you visit the Bay Area, I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do and take advantage of all that it has to offer, including some of my favorite places like Noe Valley, Cole Valley and the Mission District in the city, Sonoma wine country, Stinson Beach and the hikes of Muir Woods and Mt. Tam, and of course, the lovely seaside village of Sausalito!
I would love to learn more about you and your favorite places to visit. I hope that the Bay Area becomes one of them.
