We had a double room with private bathroom - not superclean but totally ok for one night. A little difficult to communicate with Mauro because he doesnt speak englisch. Walls are very thin, which i didnt mind but my friend did not sleep well. For those who have problems to find this accomodation it is opposite of Uni Credit Bank. It is good for a short stay. Well located!
very good location near the old city. spacious and tidy rooms. reasonable price. the only serious drawback is non-english host. Good lad but difficult to communicate if you don't know italian :)
Although the description of this room is written in English, the host spoke very little English, which made coordinating very difficult. When we couldn't find the room, calling the host on the phone was fruitless since he mostly spoke Italian, and he didn't respond quickly online (where you could then translate the language). We spent a few hours trying to get in touch and wandering the streets nearby before we finally ran into him on the streets.
When we got into the building, it was a small lobby with adjoining rooms. We were shown to our room, which had a nice TV and a private bathroom. However, we were disappointed that the Airbnb was more of a formal business than an individual renting out an extra room in their home -- for this reason, it didn't seem as friendly as other rooms might.
We should warn that the "wireless internet" is not "wi-fi" as described in the listing, but a USB dongle that requires installation. We were using a (website hidden) Chromebook which doesn't allow applications to be installed, so we could not use the internet. In other words, if you have a smartphone or tablet (like an iPad), you won't be able to connect.
Beyond that, the room was a little dirty -- we found an old orange peel and a broken piece of glass (?!) on the floor. The view was decent of Corso Buenos Aires below.
Overall, if you don't speak Italian or if you are looking for a more personalized experience with Airbnb, we do not recommend staying here. If you speak Italian and are just looking for a cheap place to sleep, this may be the right place for you.
