I'm sorry to say that we did not have a good experience staying here. The place was okay - clean (other than some pet hair on the couch) and the bed was comfortable. Our main issue was that when called Jill with our trouble with the air conditioning (it would not cool below 80 degrees for about 2 hours), she was rude and dismissive. Rather than addressing the problem, she suggested we take a cold shower or walk outside into the 100 degree heat, after which 80 would not feel so hot. At that I had to ask if she was joking.
As frequent AirBnB users, we've perhaps been spoiled by the wonderful hospitality we receive, so we were taken aback by what felt like hostility to our concern about the temp. It wasn't so much the AC that was the problem, but our interaction with Jill was quite unpleasant.
Once the AC finally cooled down we had a comfortable stay. We did see an HVAC repair truck as we left, so this may not be an issue for future guests.
Our visit was quick, but the apartment was tidy and sufficient for our stay. It is in a very industrious area of town but there are amenities close by for all your needs. Quaint is a very good description for this space
This little apartment was perfect for our stay- just a quick drive to Ashland and all the happenings of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, as well as other nearby attractions. It was clean and cozy with a nice little backyard too. I would definitely recommend it.
The house Jill provided for us was great, it was in a quiet area and had everything we needed. We were only stopping for one night as we were on a long road trip, and this was a perfect stop over for us.
