About this listing
Our house truly has character and we only rent it for a few months each year. It's the perfect Alacati summer home - in the heart of the village, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We would most like to welcome a family with children.
A 2-minute walk from the main streets of Alacati center, this spacious, single-standing stone-house is located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Owned by a French photographer and a German graphic designer, the house has a unique and homely feel to it, making it a true home away from home.
You enter the house through a much-loved garden with a cosy terrace and shade-spending pergola.
As this house is occupied for most of the year by its owners and their two children, it is most suitable for a family with kids or two couples sharing.
The downstairs bedroom's French windows open out to the garden and two more spacious bedrooms are situated upstairs, the larger one has a terrace overlooking the village. There is a bathroom on each floor, one with shower, one with a big bathtub.
All in all this house has plenty of charm, light and space and is a true gem right in the heart of the village, but still away from the summer crowds.
As we only rent our house for a few months each year, we are looking for guests that appreciate the unique and personalized style of our home. You will have full use of the kitchen, garden furniture/tools and bedding. Towels can be provided on demand. Please understand that we can't accept dogs and that our house is a strict non-smoking house. The use of the Pilates equipment can be discussed. Basic cleaning once a week is included in the rental price, extra services, such as washing/ironing of personal clothes, cooking, babysitting etc can be arranged at extra charge.
