What a lovely Florence nest! We (2 adults and one child) loved landing here for our 3-night Italian adventure. While we spent our days out exploring, we gathered provisions and cooked our suppers in the kitchen. Everything worked great and we had all the equipment we needed. Once our daughter went to bed (she was so happy to have her own bed with a cool ladder leading up to the loft), we would have our wine on the terrace and watch and listen to the locals living their lives all around this inner courtyard of apartments. The apartment is a great size for 3 people and the bedrooms are cozy and quiet. It was also nice to have a 2-sink vanity outside the WC and shower. Sara was a wonderful hostess and helped us find great things to do that would interest our young daughter (nearby playground and Children's Museum). One note: the nearest parking garage is close but expensive... 147euro for 3 nights. We highly recommend this apartment!
We loved our stay at Sara's apartment in Florence. Communication with her was always easy and efficient. She was accommodating to our travel plans and check in times, even when they changed at the very last minute due to missing our train. She is a joy to work with. The location is perfect in our opinion! We had some of our best times in Florence right on the terrace! We walked everywhere in the town from the apartment and we called it 'home' for our entire stay, because it felt like home. The place was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We would definitely stay again, and hope to!
Sara was readily available throughout our communication. She was flexible with our early check in, waited for us at the apartment upon our arrival, and provided detailed instructions on the varies aspects of the apartment. She was very friendly and welcoming.
The apartment is an approximately 10 minute walk to the very center of Florence. Although likely our misunderstanding, we were surprised that the loft is in the same room as the double bed, directly above the double bed. We also had some trouble with the stove hood, which would not stay in place. The internet worked well and a good shower head.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in Florence and found the apartment comfortable.
Stayed at Sara's apartment and she was a wonderful host. Very communicative and provided fast, detailed responses to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The apartment is just as described and in a great area, with great access to everything. Sara sincerely makes her guests feel welcome and ensures they enjoy their stay. Will not hesitate to return. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable.
My husband and I rented Sara's apartment for three nights and we really enjoyed our stay there. It was really easy to communicate with Sara and she was great about helping us with advice about restaurants, how to book a cab and a few other things. The location of the apartment is fantastic, we walked everywhere. Yes, there are stairs up to the apartment, but they are wide and well lit. Our only regret is that due to the rainy weather, we did not get a chance to sit out on the balcony with a glass of wine. If you want a great apartment in Florence, with a fantastic location and a really helpful host, this is the one to rent!
This place is wonderful. It is conveniently located near the heart of Florence. It's clean and well furnished. Sara was a great host and really easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time in Florence, and Sara welcomed us with kindness and thoughtfulness. The apartment is well-appointed and clean, a charming Florentine abode.
We enjoyed staying in the residential neighborhood and experiencing a slice of Florentine life. Surrounded by restaurants, markets and shops, we were able to meet wonderful, friendly people before we joined the throngs of tourists at the museums.
I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely apartment and its lovely host.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The guest had a last minute change in plans that I thought I would be able to accommodate, I prematurely accepted their request to alter their reservation. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I was not able to accept the change and in the end and had to cancel the reservation. This is the very first time I've had to do so in three years as a host on Airbnb.
great location. Really enjoyed the balcony. Great stay
Sara's place is right where you want to be, and she is lovely and sweet. She also speaks English - as she is from the US - so that makes things pretty easy, as far as whatever questions/concerns you might have. The place is clean, with good light, and a nice area outside that overlooks the other apartments, but still is somehow really nice, and very European feeling. She leaves you a nice little package of food, wine and possible itineraries for your time in Florence. The kitchen is pretty large for the overall size of the apartment. There is no wi-fi (at least as of my visit). Overall, highly recommended...unless you have a major aversion to walking up and down 4 flights of stairs every time you come and go...which my girlfriend and I certainly did not.
