Our house is right on the waters edge. Located on a protected harbor where from the deck or front patio you see birds soaring and bathing and fishing along with seals swimming right in front of you. Kayakers and small sailboats sailing from the HMB yacht club. Fishing boats going out to sea, a small fishing pier, the wide open ocean, the fresh ocean air, and the rise and fall of the tide. We are on the coastal trail, great for biking and walking.

This room is like the helm of a ship. The double doors open out to a deck with unobstructed views of the ocean and the harbor. It includes a private bathroom with a soaking tub for two and a shower with duel heads as well. It has an organic king size bead and can accommodate two people and an extra little one if need be.
-have ID and confirmation available at check-in
-no smoking in house
-clean up after yourself in the kitchen

Everything was exactly as expected. The views were amazing, the room was clean, and the location was perfect. There were several good restaurants within about two blocks. We didn't use the car once we got there. It's a great town to bike in and the coastal trail is very nice. Would definitely recommend, and plan to return.
Loved this room! Opens right to the Harbor. Observatory and pillar point park are a very close walk for fun sunset strolls or early morning "first feet in the sand" walks.
Loved the Japanese soaking tub and the guitars on the walls (playable!)
This was my second time staying in the sea view room and I can't wait to go back. The room is clean and beautiful and so peaceful as you can hear the waves. Definitely ask Mike on where the best nature walks are. We took his recommendations and found ourselves walking through an empty enchanted forest right on the ocean! If you're in halfmoon bay I couldn't think of a better place to stay at.
This is a room with a GORGEOUS view! Very clean and updated and large bathroom with a steam shower. When we arrived, the french doors to the deck were open, welcoming the sounds of the waves into the room. There was a pitcher of water waiting for us. We watched the sunset from the adjacent deck and then walked a block to have dinner among several choices. The hosts provided us with many great dinner suggestions. It is located in a quiet area near several restaurants, but secluded from the loud, busy city. Perfect for a quiet stay. I was a little worried about the sounds of a nearby fog horn, but it didn't bother my sleep at all and the sounds of the waves overnight were incredible. Would definitely stay here again!
We stayed at the Seahouse with Mike and Harriet for 7 nights with our last 4 nights in room 1. The deck, view and bathroom amenities made us feel like we were in heaven. Throughout our entire stay H&M were very accommodating and helpful. The location was walking distance to multiple restaurants and the harbor. So much to do and see in their area! We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you Mike and Harriet;)
I highly recommend staying at this place! It has a beautiful view, super friendly hosts, and it is walking distance from several good restaurants. Amazing!
Mike was very weloming at our arrival, showed us around, played a bit with our son and pointed out the "to-do's", and where to eat etc. The room vas nice and tidy and matched the description well and had a very nice balcony with stunning views over the harbour. Overall we are more than pleased with both the place and the host.

We are coast loving people. We, Harriet and Mike have lived on the coast for about twenty years and have five grown daughters, three of which we raised in this house. Mike is a kayak instructor and certified alchemical hypnotherapist, while Harriet is a health practitioner. For fun.....We walk on the beach every day and we love the weather, be it sunny or foggy. We love the ocean and regularly get in it, either on a kayak or a boogie board. The new water sport Harriet is excited to try is stand-up paddle boarding. When we go on vacation, we take more road trips than flights and tend to stay on the coast. Mike plays bass guitar and we both like flamenco music. We have a little dog (don't tell him he's little), who is part jack russel and blue heeler. He is older now and much more quiet. Lately we have been enjoying the Pie Ranch Barn Dance. Its a little rowdy, a lot of fun and anyone can go.We are very friendly and we welcome you to utilize our wealth of information of the area. We also appreciate the retreat and solitude that this natural setting can offer.
