Our house is right on the waters edge. Located on a protected harbor where from the deck or front patio you see birds soaring and bathing and fishing along with seals swimming right in front of you. Kayakers and small sailboats sailing from the HMB yacht club. Fishing boats going out to sea, a small fishing pier, the wide open ocean, the fresh ocean air, and the rise and fall of the tide. We are on the coastal trail, great for biking and walking.

This room is like the helm of a ship. The double doors open out to a deck with unobstructed views of the ocean and the harbor. It includes a private bathroom with a soaking tub for two and a shower with duel heads as well. It has an organic king size bead and can accommodate two people and an extra little one if need be.

The Space was breathtaking with a beautiful private patio overlooking the harbor. The hosts were very accommodating and easy going. We arrived pretty late, after 10pm and were still received with smiles. definitely would recommend.
After browsing mediocre hotels online for a one-night stay in Half Moon Bay, I came across this listing (and am so glad I did). Upon arrival, we were given a friendly tour of the Seahouse and received valuable information about the area (nearby hikes and restaurants). The room itself is an amazing space with a private deck overlooking its own beach. The bathroom is gorgeous, with a deep soaking tub and an amazing shower. The house, the magnificent location, H + M's hospitality, and the room all exceeded our expectations. We'll be back for sure!
We had high expectations for this place and somehow they were exceeded! Already looking forward to our next visit.
I was more than delighted with my room, space, location and host. They were kind to accommodate my 10 p.m. arrival and early departure, and I tried to be respectful and quiet. Slept soundly, marveled at the terrific Grohe and glass shower and views from porthole windows. I'd like to come back for a longer stay next time!
The place is simply amazing and a tremendous value. The hosts are very warm, welcoming, gracious, give you plenty of space ... what more could you want?
Wonderful space and gorgeous view. Our hosts were very helpful and relaxed. Would definitely go back.

We are coast loving people. We, Harriet and Mike have lived on the coast for about twenty years and have five grown daughters, three of which we raised in this house. Mike is a kayak instructor and certified alchemical hypnotherapist, while Harriet is a health practitioner. For fun.....We walk on the beach every day and we love the weather, be it sunny or foggy. We love the ocean and regularly get in it, either on a kayak or a boogie board. The new water sport Harriet is excited to try is stand-up paddle boarding. When we go on vacation, we take more road trips than flights and tend to stay on the coast. Mike plays bass guitar and we both like flamenco music. We have a little dog (don't tell him he's little), who is part jack russel and blue heeler. He is older now and much more quiet. Lately we have been enjoying the Pie Ranch Barn Dance. Its a little rowdy, a lot of fun and anyone can go.We are very friendly and we welcome you to utilize our wealth of information of the area. We also appreciate the retreat and solitude that this natural setting can offer.
