You can also visit any of the lakes and streams nearby, for fishing, boating and other water activities. Millerton Lake, Shaver Lake, Dinkey Creek, Huntington Lake, Courtright Resevoir, Wishon Reservoir, and Edison Lake are some of the nice areas to visit, as well. There is a lot of beauty along the way. We are also 2 1/2-3 hours from the beautiful Central California Coast!
Please note that our rates change with the seasons. Summer are our highest rates w/ Winter being our lowest.

We are from Taiwan, our eight people family stay in James and Liz's house one night.
Here is very amazing, big house , big yard, country side is surrounding .
James and Liz are very nice, we very like Liz hand made blueberry muffins , it's very delicious, I can't forgot that. Breakfast is awesome...
Everything is comfortable, we really very relax here.
James and Liz 非常的和善，這房子非常精典有特色，古式燒柴暖爐，大的美麗庭園，坐在庭院喝著咖啡丶望著美麗的田野，非常休閒。
This place is wonderfully located in the countryside, amidst beautiful rolling hills. The house is quite spacious and the rooms are airy and clean. The back patio was definitely a plus.
James and Liz are delightful and wonderful hosts who truly have the gift of hospitality. They prepared a country style breakfast that was amazingly delicious (and also nutritious). Liz prepared a lunch (at small additional cost) for us to take to Yosemite National Park.
This place is definitely a must for those tourists traveling to any of the nearby National Parks (Yosemite, Sequoia or Kings Canyon).
Wonderful experience at very reasonable cost!
James and Elizabeth are the greatest hosts possible. It is a wonderful location, very quiet and peaceful. They both go out of their way to make you comfortable and welcome.
Liz always makes a fresh and friendly breakfast, with home roasted coffee !! Try her cheese and bacon biscuits, Wow.
She also makes a great dinner meal that is warm and hearty.
They are a wealth of knowledge of the local sites and surroundings, plus they are just plain nice folks. Will be back fore sure.
We were very happy to stay at this place. James also has a factory for printing in his garage and a fun stories of him living all over the world. Elizabeth is lovely woman who is running hotel business in her bedrooms since it is too silent after her children grew up and left. I guess this is why it is so good price to stay... :)
The reservation was canceled 17 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The reason we had to cancel this reservation was for security purposes.
The person who booked, as we soon learned, was not the person who would be
coming. We did all we could, on our part, to communicate our discomfort
but nothing was resolved. Airbnb was very understanding.
We loved our stay at James and Liz place and we only wished we could have stayed longer.
We arrived late and Liz kindly offered us a sandwich. She's very hospitable and we felt immediately at home.
We enjoyed sharing a delicious homemade breakfast with Liz. It's the best we've had during our trip in the USA.
Liz also helped a lot with preparing our visits and gave us very good suggestions.
We strongly recommend staying at James and Liz place, you'll be welcomed as you were part of the family.
As expected, not easy to locate. I had it easy, just keyed in the coordinates into my GPS and I was led there directly. It was quiet and isolated, if you are looking for some place to stay away from all the hypes and noises of towns and cities, this is it. Very peaceful night, no sounds at all. And the breakfast, with farm fresh eggs and home roasted coffee, is a big plus over all other accommodation choices. And of course, Elizabeth and James are very good host, fussing over us like a mother hen. All in all, a very nice break and relaxing stay. Wished I had more time to spend there instead of just a touch and go stop by.

We have enjoyed the privilege of being able to live AND make a living in this lovely hill country setting for the past 26 years. James owns and operates his printers' service business from this location. We've raised our four children here and now enjoy having our grandchildren come for visits.
We love the outdoors and some of our hobbies are gardening, camping, backpacking, music, (James plays guitar), quilting, cooking, EATING, and traveling. We are actively involved with our mountain community church where we have the blessing of studying the Bible, praying for and encouraging each other.
Airbnb has been a great avenue to be able to share our home and offer our hospitality with the restful atmosphere that we've experienced in other B&Bs here in the US and abroad in Europe.
