I'm crazy for Japanese culture and food, in fact I study Japanese language. I love also design, art, books and electronic music.....and yes, I love to travel too. I travel very often across Europe, America and Japan.

  • A lot of thanks to the host Chiara.
It was kind of a last-minute booking as I had to change my plans just a few days before the trip. And I'm really happy it turned out this way.
The apartment is in the very center of Rome within walking distance from nearly everything you must see. And it's just 10 minutes walk from Termini station which is important when you arrive in Rome both by plane or train.
The room I lived in (number 2) was rather big with a double bed, a wardrobe and a private bathroom. The breakfast was served every morning and it contained different cookies, yoghurt, juice, cornflakes etc. What I liked most of all was Nespresso coffee. In case I needed I could use a cooker and a fridge.
Chiara herself is a wonderful host. She provided all the details to find the place and after meeting she gave a lot of necessary information on how to get to the points of interest the best way including some tips on where to eat. Special thank is for the check-out. I had a flight in the evening and she let me stay in the room as long as I needed without any additional charge.
I would recommend this B&B to everyone going to Rome.

  • We never thought that we would find a place from where we could walk all over Rome, but we did here! Even to the Vatican we took a leisurely stroll and got there in just about 45 minutes...all the while discovering the lovely streets and terraces of the city on the way. The place is very clean, extremely well situated just a short 15 minutes walk from the train station and the private bath along with a lovely breakfast were definitely among the top points to note about the B&B. The sisters were lovely and very responsive to our needs, including dropping an alarm clock at 11h00 o'clock at night so we could get up in time for our early flight the next morning. Don't think twice about staying here, especially if you are looking for a neat place walking distance to everywhere in the city.

  • My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Zolilla BNB. The location was great and the BNB was very clean and up to date. I also enjoyed breakfast in the well-appointed kitchen.

I would give five stars but there was a last minute mix up and we ended up getting a room with an unnattached bathroom (it was private but just down the hall from the room instead of in the room). That was a bit inconvenient as we confirmed to stay in a room with a private bath, however, Chiara did all she could to make our stay enjoyable none the less. We had a great time!

I would highly recommend this BNB and have actually already told some friends going to Rome next year that this would be a great place for them to stay!

  • What a brilliant bed and breakfast. Quiet, clean, very conveniently located and great value for money. Franca and Chiara are such warm and lovely hosts. They really make you feel welcome. They gave some great recommendations. I couldn't recommend Zollia any more highly.

  • Absolutely fantastic stay - one of our best Air B&B stays ever. It was easy to get to the stay, and it was a phenomenal location close to all the major tourist sites.

It was cleaned daily, which was amazing. Never had that before in other Air B&B stays. There was a super cute breakfast each morning and an nespresso machine for the morning caffeine fix.

All the decoration was adorable and it was nice and quiet as our window looked over a courtyard-type area.

Would recommend a thousand times over.

  • I had a lovely time at Zolilla B&B - Chiara and Franca are really very friendly, lovely people! My room was spatious and beautifully furnished, and so was the bathroom. Everything was so clean and pretty :)!

What is more, everyday my breakfast package was prepared with so much love and detail: I always got a ready-bought pastry like croissant filled with chocolate or jam, furthermore cookies and a wafer or cereal bar (which I always packed to nibble them whilst exploring the city), fruit juice, Zwieback and jam. There was also cocoa powder, nutella and peanut butter, and milk, yogurt and butter were kept in the fridge for all the guest so as to help ourselves when needed. For coffee lovers, there was a DeLonghi coffee machine with Nespresso capsules.

The wireless internet connection too worked perfectly :).

  • Great location! The B&B is about a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. We walked just about everywhere in Rome. The owner is super nice and waited for us even when were 2 hours late due to getting lost driving. She met us there with a smile and gave us a little tour of the B&B and answered any questions we had. The room and private bathroom are clean and smells great! Basic breakfast but the kitchen has all the basics you need. The only downside is that the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors, but it didn't bother us since we were out most of the day. Thank you, Zolilla B&B for being a nice home away from home!
