ZOLILLA its the best place to start a real tour of Rome: near the Imperial Forums and Colosseum!
The apartment is located in the first floor of a quiet and safe neighborhood.
Nearby, there is shops as well as a couple of supermarkets, and of course, many good restaurants...
The apartment has Wireless Internet included in hte price, bathroom for every room, and a kitchen (and fridge).
We are downtown near Colosseum,Imperial Forums,Arch of Constantine,Forum of Trajan,Santa Maria MAggiore chruc,San Pietro in Vincoli (inside there is the Michelangelo's sculpture called Moses),Trajan's column,Piazza Venezia,Via del Corso (the most important street for shopping),Victor Emmanuel,Forum Romanum,Palatine hill and a lot more.

Pantheon,Trevi fountain,Spanish steps,Campo dei Fiori,Piazza del Popolo,Piazza Navona,Villa borghese are just 20 minutes by feet.
We are well connected with the public transport, so you can go anywhere at any time without worrying about how you will get back. There are a couple of bus and tram stops about a 1min walk away, as well as the metro/subway station CAVOUR or TERMINI 400m away which has a bus station that connects to almost all parts of the city, as well as to the train stations and connections to the Fiumicino and Ciampino airport.

Welcome, I'm Franca a creative and graphic designer but also owner of a gorgeus B&B located in the middle of the historical centre of Roma called ZOLILLA.
What is the meaning of this curious name? Well, the name its composed by "Zoli" (my last name) and "Godzilla". In fact the mascotte "Zolilla" is a kind of purple dinosaur, by the way, LILLA in italian means lilac!
I'm crazy for Japanese culture and food, in fact I study Japanese language. I love also design, art, books and electronic music.....and yes, I love to travel too. I travel very often across Europe, America and Japan.
I have a twin sister who helps me with this wonderful work.
We really like do sports, cooking and eating great food...we are italian!
* All the illustrations on the website and inside the B&B are our creations.
I had a brilliant stay at Zolilla!
The location is great and meant that I walked everywhere. It was only 10 minutes down to the 'Ancient Rome' part of town and 20 minutes up to the Spanish Steps. I felt comfortable as a young female walking around in the evening as well, which was good.
The room itself was lovely. It was big and had lots of wardrobe space. Franca kept the room clean and it was always a nice space to come back to at the end of the day. The only downfall was some residents at other B&Bs in the building, something that Zolilla couldn't control! One evening the people the other side of the wall to me were quite noisy. It was only 1 night out of 5, and I imagine only a concern for room 3 which shares a wall with another place, but something to consider if that's likely to annoy you - pick room 1 or 2!
The breakfast in the morning was great. A big range of things on offer and some good coffee! I was up early for a conference and breakfast was always ready.
Franca was very welcoming! She provided me with a map and tips on where to eat locally for good, cheap food (I particularly loved the 'Tipsy Cow' on via Urbana. She also said that I could text her at any point if I needed something. Whilst I didn't need to do this, it was good to know.
Having the bathroom at the end of the corridor is not ideal, but I knew that when I booked the room.
Overall a great place! It's clean, it feels safe, Franca was lovely and the location is perfect.
I was visiting Rome for 4 days and decided to stay at this beautiful place. I really enjoyed living at this apartment, it is very comfortable, cozy and beautiful! The host is super kind and nice, I had a fantastic breakfast with real italian goods and wonderful coffee every morning. You have all need for a comfortable visit at this apartment, it is new and very spacious. Also, its location is perfect, its right in the center and very close too all the monuments. I didn't have a car, but it was easy since I could walk everywhere. Also, it is very close to Termini station, I walked and found the apartment without any problems. I would DEFINITELY recommend this apartment and I will definitely come back.
Ottima accoglienza, simpatia e competenza. Grazie per l'ospitalità mi sono trovato veramente bene. Ottima posizione, camera pulitissima e servizio decisamente lodevole. Un grazie a Chiara e TANTI AUGURI PER UN SERENO NATALE E FELICE ANNO NUOVO!
Grazie Chiara per una visita fantastica! Chiara was a friendly, gracious and thoughtful hostess, and it shows with her extra touches throughout the Zolilla B & B! It is very clean, nicely decorated, and central to everything one wants to see when in Rome! I would reccomend Zolilla to anyone who wants an enjoyable and affordable stay in Rome!
Zolilla was a great place to stay! The apartment was clean and very cute! Every morning a very nice breakfast is already waiting for you. The location was great as well - close to the train station, metro line, and many of Rome's attractions. Even though it's on a main street, the building was quiet. The host was there to meet me when I arrived to walk me through the apartment, and give me great suggestions on where to eat dinner. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Rome!
Near the station side. The owner was very friendly. There was a small problem with the room, the owner gave the white wine with the repair. I came back to my house, I drank the delicious memories with. Thank you. Always be happy :)
Chiara and her sister run an absolutly fabulous B&B. It is located right in the centre of Rome, all clean and cosy. I had the room with the bathroom outside, which was no problem at all. There was a breakfast prepared every morning with coffee, tea, cereals and everything you need. They gave me a map and some good tips, so I was well prepared. So everything was just fine. Nothing to complain about.
Wonderful stay. Well located, extremely clean and beautifully designed space. Thoughtfully laid out breakfast. I felt at home right away and the owners were most helpful, kind and warm. Great place to rest your feet in between touring. Much better than many Rome hotels. Best decision ever to stay with them. Thank you both for making my trip so memorable, pleasant and relaxing.
Great, central place to stay in Rome. Would definitely recommend to others.
The B&B looks even better in person than what's in the picture. I had the room with the bathroom that was located outside by the kitchen. Thought this might be an issue but I never actually ran into anyone else in the B&B, so it felt totally private. The bedroom had a great A/C unit and lots of closet space. Wi-Fi was awesome too. Chiara kept the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen spotless. The laundry machine isn't available to guests but she was kind enough to help me wash a few items. Super sweet and helpful!
Breakfast includes pastries, cereal, yogurt, coffee / tea and juice. If that doesn't rock your boat, there's a small market just down the street to pick up eggs, fruit etc. There are also lots of restaurants nearby. I really liked Urbana 47 which is on the street over from the B&B. Most of the sites are within walking distance. Termini station is just one stop away which makes it easy to hop onto another metro line.
There are quite a few stairs coming off the metro stop (sorry no lift or escalators here) and then several more up to the B&B. While Zolilla is on the 1st floor, that's still two flights up. Be prepared to carry your luggage. In the heat of July, I about passed out :)
