SIMBA BEACH is an alternative way of being a tourist in this magic equatorial island.
Simba Beach is a charming guest house right on Kiwengwa beach on the east coast of the island. It is about 50 km from the airport and the capital Stone Town. It is easily reached with about 50 minutes to transfer on paved roads.
On request we provide also a transfer service from/ to the airport or from/to the harbor.
After years of experience in the hospitality business on the Spices Island, we decided to take it a step further and set up our own B&B.
Simba Beach consists of 8 rooms all facing the sea and situated right on the beach. Our rooms are all double and two of them are triple room.
All have four-poster bed with mosquito net, bedside tables, wardrobe open, table and chairs, ceiling fan, private bathroom and veranda. In addition, all rooms have tiled floors.
Simba Beach wants to be a structure ECO-Friendly, as the rooms are not air conditioned, but are naturally cooled by the sea breeze coming in through the glassless windows, which are obviously all protected by mosquito nets.
At the Simba Beach is also available the Restaurant, with à la carte menù, and the Bar, both with an amazing ocean view.

Come and discover the pure and untouched beauty of Nature, the smile of its warm people, the fragrance of its spices and its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
Marco and Luigi and the whole family are doing a fabulous job in Kiwengwa, Zanzibar. You guys do have a dream location, that is for sure. Together with your flexibility and hospitality it is worth every second of a stay. We immediately fell in love with Simba, with the kids, with the dogs, with the sun and with Zanzibar. Did not know about a place down in Africa with such a bunch of Italians on one beach, but obviously you know how to live a life.
We enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.
We stayed at Simba Beach for four nights and I can not recommend this place high enough. The house is located on a lonely beach strip where you won't be disturbed by anybody. The Marco, Luigi and the rest of the staff are super nice and were always helpful with giving hints and interesting ideas on what to do and with organising trips and tours, i.e. to Stone Town.
The rooms are very clean and big enough with warm water in the shower and internet.
In summary, we enjoyed every minute of our stay there and one day I will definitely come back :-)
We had a 'beyond' exceptional time at Simba Beach. We were booked to stay for 4 nights, but instead stayed our whole 11 days right there. If you are looking for a small, non-resort type vacation that includes exquisite beauty, local culture, clean environment, and a family run (email hidden)is is the place. Great food, too. We loved Hazaima and Ulfat, the adorable resident little girls who adopted us as their friends, the family dogs who walked with us and watched over us, the beautiful flowers placed on our bed each day, and of course the swimming, walking, sailing, beauty of the Indian Ocean. By far my best vacation. Chantalle and Marco, you are doing a great job. Keep it up.
Jambo!!!! Chantal, Marco and everybody at Simba Beach, are the NICEST people!! We had an amazing time there, loved the food - Chantal, your minestrone saved my life!!- the atmosphere, the lovely, lovely staff-our vacation couldn't have been better. And of course because of Zeus, Chapati and Bacco, the great dogs, our beach space was not "infested" with pseudo-massais who were only interested in selling us something. Don't get it wrong-the dogs wouldn't hurt anyone but they just had an impressive presence!! Simba beach is the perfect place to chill, read, stare at the sea- in short: the perfect space for Hakuna Matata. Mille Mille grazie, we'll be back!!!
It was like finding heaven on The earth!!
Lovely place to spend lazy time after safari and Kilimanjaro !
