This 1 bedroom-1 bathroom Craftsman guesthouse is the perfect place to stay while in Los Angeles. Centrally located in West Hollywood, one of the safest and most pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods in the city, you're only minutes away from the best of what LA has to offer. Some of the hottest restaurants, bars and clubs are within walking distance. First class amenities in this professionally decorated unit include granite counters, hardwood floors, crown molding, recessed lighting and brand new stainless steel appliances.
ABOUT THE GUESTHOUSE:
This stylish house is quietly nestled off the street by a rose garden. It is fully detached--no neighbors or shared walls--and gets great natural light. It is one of two guesthouses behind the main house on the property, in which I live. I always respect everyone's privacy, though should you need something or have a question, I'm not far away.
The bedroom has a brand new, comfortable queen bed with high quality linens. The large closet has a brand new washer and dryer, so laundry day is always an easy one. There's an iron and ironing board in there for your convenience, as well.
Save some money by cooking at home in the fully appointed kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, mixer and chef's knifes.
The black and white "Old Hollywood" style bathroom is tiled floor to ceiling and has a beautiful shower/tub with satin nickel fixtures, plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Yes, there's a hair-dryer in there for you, too.
Other features include recessed lights on dimmers throughout, a heating and air conditioning unit, a 42" flat screen HD tv with cable, an internet connected Blu-Ray DVD player and high speed wifi.
We provide a hangtag for easy street parking here in the restricted parking neighborhood. While there is no dedicated parking spot, there's often a space out front or within one block in any direction. We'll tell you the best/easiest places to look.
We also try to be green, so we use energy efficient appliances and recycle what materials we can.
ABOUT THE LOCATION:
West Hollywood is located between Beverly Hills and Hollywood. It is a prime location for anyone visiting LA and central to just about everything.
Attractions nearby include theme parks (Universal Studios, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, etc), live entertainment (Hollywood Bowl, Pantages, Laugh Factory, etc), tourist destinations (The Hollywood Sign, Kodak Theatre, Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Sunset Strip, etc), outdoor activities (Santa Monica Beach, Hiking the canyons, Malibu, etc), world class shopping (Rodeo Dr, Melrose, The Grove/Farmer’s Market, etc) and so much more.

ABOUT OUR GUESTS:
Please make sure your Airbnb profile is complete. When sending a message or inquiry, please tell us something about yourself and the nature of your visit. Also, we can make more relevant suggestions or bring up certain LA highlights if we know a little about the purpose of your trip.
*For the assistants, agents, reps and/or friends who would like to book the guesthouse on behalf of someone else, we appreciate and understand what you're doing, but we can only accept bookings from the profile of the person that will be staying in the guesthouse. We thank you for your consideration.
Restaurants, shopping, live entertainment, Hollywood nightlife, it’s all here. Please check out the photos and reviews, they really speak for themselves and show you what you can look forward to while here in LA. It’s an amazing space in an awesome location that really is one-of-a-kind. Thanks for visiting.
We make a copy of each guest's driver's license or passport upon arrival, to keep things safe for everyone. We'll give you keys in person.
This is a non-smoking home. The city prohibits loud noise after 10p and before 8a, we generally try not to upset the neighbors. It's best for everyone. Along those lines, please do not pull roll-along suitcases down the concrete driveway before 8am or after 10pm. The neighbors thank you.
No foreign articles in the toilet please, as guests will be responsible for any costs to resolve plumbing issues.
Of course, no subletting the guesthouse. Any illegal activity is grounds for immediate eviction, with forfeiture of all payments. We've never needed any of this, but we put it here just to protect ourselves.
At check-out, please make sure there are no dirty dishes in the sink or on the counters (in the dishwasher is fine).
Generally speaking, please treat our home as you would your own. We appreciate it. We've been lucky and had some great guests so far and we'll hopefully keep that trend going! Thanks.
We were really impressed with the house on arrival, not only it is tastefully designed, it had more space and necessities than a hotel room plus outdoor space! There were a large variety of tea (even black tea for us Brits) and coffee and even emergency pastas if you arrive late and needed to cook. We didn't cook tho, the house is close to the famous Sunset Blvd and we couldn't wait to check out the nightlife and restaurants. It is in a safe and sophisticated area of West Hollywood and the 'walk of fame & Chinese Theatre' is within walking distance too.
Our hosts were friendly and gave some great travelling tips. They didn't bother us during our stay and what we appreciate most is the flexibility with our check-out time due to our late flight departure (given that there were no others checking in the same day). Thank you very much Todd ! We really enjoyed our stay and had an amazing holiday! Can't wait to visit LA again soon and will be in touch!
This little private cottage in the middle of West Hollywood is amazing. An absolute gem! Todd is welcoming and charming. Everything is as pictured but even more delightful in person.
Everything about this little guest house surpassed our expectation for our weekend in LA. The location in West Hollywood is IDEAL, so centrally located and super close to the yummiest brunch spots in town. The space was super private, so clean, and really felt like OUR space for the weekend. The decor is so tasteful and well designed while still being cozy and so comfortable. The full binder of information for the area, the spread of magazines...every detail just made us feel so welcome. And to top it off, Todd (with his wonderful dog, Pip) was an immaculate host - full of information, super responsive and always ready to help. We just wished we could have stayed longer and gotten to use the beautiful kitchen!
Todd's guesthouse was beautiful, immaculately clean, had everything one could need.Todd goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are comfortable and looked after
Todd is amazing!!! He was so welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. The guesthouse is spotless and had everything we needed and more! The neighborhood is very safe and close to everything! Thank you Todd for your hospitality. Can't wait to make our way back to L.A. again; as this is now considered our home away from home :)
I stayed 4 nights in Todd's lovely house，it was an wonderful experience in my trip. The place is very clean & brand new with great taste，the area is quiet and location is good，easy to everywhere！I am very glad to meet Todd and his two lovely dogs，Todd is so kind and helpful，help me for dealing with parking space and even solving problem of my car！Thanks for everything and will definitely come back next time come to la.
This space was amazing! Clean, great location, quiet despite being central. There is not a thing I would have changed about it. Being in LA for 2+ weeks on business and having a kitchen and laundry made life away from home easier! And the hosts are super nice people!

Originally from a suburb of Washington DC, I lived in Manhattan for several years and then switched coasts to sunny, beautiful Los Angeles. I love to travel (wish I got to do it much more frequently), especially to Europe.
Italy, France, Germany and London were some favorites, though I'm still adding to that list.
I teach martial arts and I have an adorable little 18 pound terrier/maltese rescue named Pip. She's fantastic.
