I was in town for a conference, and was out late each night and early each morning, but Julie was very accommodating. The house and room were very nice, and the neighborhood is quiet and has a very New England feel.

The room was lovely and bright. I was very cozy. The kitchen was a pleasure to prepare my meals in. I enjoyed watching the birds outside the window. The view outdoors was appreciated. Julie was quiet and friendly; I enjoyed chatting with her. I also appreciated that she honored quite time in the evening. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Julie is a fantastic host who communicated very well before my arrival. She was very flexible when I had to change dates and extremely helpful in arranging for my arrival. Her home is beautiful, light, and very clean. The kitchen is easy to navigate and she has everything you need to cook your own meals. The room itself is very comfortable for one person. Being winter, Julie added a space heater to ensure I stayed warm. Overall, Julie is a kind, welcoming person, who is knowledgable about the area. I was working at Smith, which is an easy 20-minute walk away either through neighborhoods or on a trail. I opted to take the trail most days, even in the winter (just remember your Yaktraks), which made for a really beautiful commute.

Julie and Daniel are gracious hosts, and they have a wonderful home. Although our schedules differed, they were always friendly and sociable when our paths crossed. The room was clean, quiet, and perfect for getting work done. Their house was set among the backdrop of a quaint and charming New England town. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants a welcoming introduction to the area.

Julie and Daniel communicated with me before my trip, always ready to answer questions. I arrived when they weren't there, and they left very clear instructions about how to find the room, where to park, etc. The room was well-appointed; there were lots of useful hooks in the bathroom. My only recommendations are to add surfaces for guests' things: (1) eliminate the knick-knacks from the dresser and (2) provide a shelf near the shower to hold guests' shampoo/soap while showering. But these are minor -- I would certainly come back and stay in this lovely b&b, and I'm hoping to do so again next year for Smith Family weekend!
