Spacious city home, 5 minutes walk from Galway city centre, with large enclosed back garden. Located at Galway's west-end. Fabulous restaurants & bars nearby. Large bath fits 2 people. All humans and pets welcome!
Luxury Home minutes walk from Galway city centre. The house is in a wonderful location & has mature plum trees in the secluded back garden. The back garden gate opens onto a canal & pedestrian walkway leading you, in minutes, either to the city, Claddagh beach, Galway Cathederal or the city's NUIG university.
We love meeting new people. LGBTQ friendly. We have a wonderful old super friendly (red) Irish setter! We also have cats in the back garden, but it is your choice how much you interact with them.
Other facilities a short walk away include Spanish Arch & Galway Museum, Latin Quarter, Roisin Dubh & Monroe's (for music), Salthill (Ireland's longest promenade), Druid & Town Hall Theatre, An Taibhdhearc (Irish Language Theatre), The Claddagh (i.e Heart in Hands Claddagh Ring) and St. Nicholas' Collegiate Church (established 1320).
Galway is full of water, whether in the rivers, canals, beaches or in the skies! Yes, it rains a lot but its worth it! The house was built in 1928 but recently renovated and has a lot of luxury comforts: great music system, wifi, amazingly big bath, home cinema screen 8Ft (2.4M), peat turf fire, great hosts!!! ;0)
See our other listings (on the panel to the right hand side) if you would like to book either the whole house or else the master bedroom. If renting the entire house, of course the dog will be coming away with us!
As our guests, you will have complete access to the house facilities with the exception of 2 small offices. You have access to bathrooms, shower rooms, bedrooms, kitchen and living room etc... Free Parking is available for one car in the private driveway.
Interaction with guests
If we are in town, we usually interact quite a bit with guests, if they like to interact & chat. If we are away, we are still very contactable over SMS, Airbnb app or phone. Some people like to do their own thing and this also is cool
Other things to note
We have a lovely Irish (red) setter dog who is very gentle, and cats.
no smoking inside the house, no parties. the neighbours have children so noise in the back garden after 11pm and please leave the place the way you find it. Thanks :)

Parisch is a songwriter & musician with a passion for singing, Pamela is hydrogeologist (water & rock engineer) and she is the minister for FUN. We are in our mid 40s, have no kids, like the finer things in life - good food, fine wine, great coffee, hanging out friends and getting to meet new people. We are liberal in our outlook and all peoples and dogs are welcome - we used to have a big old Labrador horsey/dog until recently but she had to say Au Revoir! So, we are used to big dogs around and the house and garden are dog friendly. The beach is near also so dog lovers need not worry about bringing a dog to the city. We run a house concert series on the first saturday of most months where we invite professional musicians to play for 20-50 people in our spacious living room. These are very special occasions. We do not own a TV but love to watch DVDs on our projector and 8 Ft home cinema screen. Balance and fun are important, LOVE and laughter are crucial.
