Gyorgy was an excellent host. He had a timeshare to rent in Cancun and was a great source of information on the area. He contacted me many times prior to leaving making sure that all reservations were made and gave us suggestions on places to visit. He gave me multiple ways to contact him and always responded right away. Cancun Mexico and surrounding area is beautiful. We snorkeled on an excursion off Isla Mujeres reef, we took the ferry to Isla Mujeres and rented golf carts, ate and watched the sunset there at the best restaurant ever - Sunset Grill - a must to go to. Another really fun restaurant in Cancun is Mextreme. They balance margarita on thier head while serving you and they got a conga line going through the restaurant while balancing on head. Great fun atmosphere. We took a bus to Xei-Ha. This was my favorite excursion - A natural lagoon that the ocean runs into. Has snorkeling, zip line, rope climbing and tubing. We toured Tulum and Coba to see the Mayan ruins. You can climb to the top in Coba. The excursion included a trip to a Cenote for swimming - similar to a Spring with natural fresh water. A two hour bus ride (nice and air conditioned) from Cancun but fun to see. We booked all excursions online. They are better priced than the hotels. The room advertised is actually two separate rooms joined by a foyer. Try and stay above the 4th floor if possible.
Unfortunately for us the weather was not the greatest, however, I already knew Cancun had plenty to offer and therefore made the best out of it. This is one of the smaller resorts I've been to and it seemed as they made quite an effort to keep the guests entertained despite the rain.
Our rooms were nice, however I was under the impression we had 1big room as opposed to 2 rooms right next to each other without a connecting door. However, our view was lovely.
I knew beforehand where the hotel was located and knew that any malls and clubs were only a short walk.
Our trip overall could have been better, but we're already a planning to go back :)
