Interaction with Guests
Other than keeping you stocked in coffee, tea and yogurt, you're pretty much on your own. Let's us know what you like to do and we can give you the locals venue.
We are in the best location for visiting Morro Bay. Lots of parking (even for a fishing boat), the golf course has ocean views and is just around the corner, tennis courts a block away, and you can walk downtown and to the harbor's embarcadero.
We have bikes to use, you can walk or hike around and just at the end of the block, there is bus transit running up and down the coast.
Other Things to Note
Morro Bay is a lovely little fishing village, beautiful bay, miles of deserted beach, huge bird estuary, ocean view golf, miles of hiking, biking, camping, just south of Hearst castle, lots to do, or just sit and listen to waves..
A really nice quite neighborhood, please be courteous of the people around us, No smoking, Call about cute pets. Check out by noon and check in around 3.
Tom's place was perfect for our father/daughter visit to CalPoly and his place was just as advertised. We were just a short drive from campus, and it really felt like a vacation being close to the interesting Morro Bay waterfront. We did not have time to use all the great toys on the patio but plan to come back and bike around the city and do some paddle boarding!
I would recommend this cute place to anyone. A lot of thought was put into making our stay comfortable. What's better than: chocolates, hot tub, wine, yogurt, coffee, and toiletries to use? They have thought of everything!!
Good place to stay when you're in Morro Bay, just 5 minutes from the state park where I kayak and 5 minutes to the center of Morro life--the harbor. The place is clean, the bed comfortable, and tastefully decorated. And you get a spa and bikes. Stay here instead of a hotel! Tom is very responsive, so I'm a happy customer.
I was not able to make it last minute due to unforeseen personal reasons.
Tom was very accommodating and receptive.
I will definitely be visiting his listing in the next couple of mths
Tom was an ideal host! The apartment was ready and waiting for us, and had so many thoughtful little touches. It was really evident that Tom put a lot of thought into what his guests might need or enjoy—for example, not only did we have access to the hot tub, but he also provided robes, towels, and a flashlight all right by the door—and I couldn't have been happier with the stay. Since I stayed there with a friend, I slept on the couch, which was totally comfortable for someone petite! I'd certainly stay with Tom again if I go back to Morro Bay.
Blown away at what a fantastic place Tom has created here! I almost want to keep it a secret rather than write the review that it absolutely deserves, just because I feel like I've discovered such an amazing hidden gem!
Everything about it, from the private gated entrance iinto the secluded studio, down to the filtered water in the pitcher on the kitchenette counter, there just wasn't a single detail missed. Wind down with a glass of vino or a cold one when you get there, and enjoy a cup of yogurt with some granola in the morning, Tom has got you covered, along with a Keureg coffee and tea selection and cream and milk in the fridge.
The studio amenities are so nice you almost don't want to leave your little abode, but at some point you need to remind yourself that you're in beautiful Morro Bay--and there are so many things to do and see!
And Tom's got you covered on any Morro Bay activity you might want to tackle... With all the extras that Tom has for you to play with, I was reminded of being a little 8 or 9 year old kid and being overjoyed to go to my 10 year old cousin's house and play with all his cool toys. Tom is like that older cousin! If the surf is up, he's got the surf boards for you; if it's not then take the stand up paddleboard out, cross the narrow harbor and hike the dunes... Afterward, take one of his bicycles down to the wharf for some din, and come back to chill in the hot tub after.
The possibilities are pretty endless, I felt like I had more than I needed, and maximized my Morro Bay experience. Without question, will make this my future stop between SF and LA.
every thing was better than we expected. Tom had wine and chocolates out for us. There was oatmeal and yogurts and granola. Coffee for the morning. He let us use his bikes and surfboards, paddle boards. it was awesome. The place was super clean and comfortable with a hot tub. We got hooked on the net flix available. It was great and we will be backl!
From Morro Bay CA, My Wife and I like to visit locally as much as we can and far away as much as we can afford. We are avid sailors and love everything water.
