Erick was a great host and we had no issue getting in touch with him if we needed something. This apartment has the most beautiful view of the bay and Alcatraz! We loved the convenience of walking into Sausalito and being able to take the ferry right over to San Francisco. We fell in love with the neighborhood of Old Sausalito and especially loved the smell of honeysuckle that came through the apartment from outside. The Golden Gate market is a block away and has great groceries and sandwiches. I would not hesitate to comeback and stay here again anytime we are in the area!
This apartment is fantastic. The views, how it is equipped, the location, the balcony. Erick was always at the end of the phone or contactable by email for the few questions we had. Highly recommended!
Erick was good at communicating how to easily check in and out without even having to personally meet him, although he promptly made sure all was well. This was my first time to CA and our first experience with Airbnb so we were a little skeptical. The pictures of the upstairs apartment we stayed in were true to life but the view of the bay from the little deck outside where we had breakfast each morning was much better than we imagined. The apartment was clean which was a high priority for us and the bed was surprisingly comfortable because I never like beds away from home! The neighborhood was quaint and quiet, and we could easily walk to downtown Sausalito within 10 minutes, but it always took us longer because we stopped to look at the beautiful surroundings or sat on a bench to watch the boats. Erick recommended the FISH restaurant and Muir Woods and we are glad we listened to him because our meal was probably the best we had that vacation and the redwoods were spectacular. The little grocery store a block away had many items we needed and delicious cranberry walnut bread that was out of this world toasted! We liked how easy it was to get to San Francisco by ferry, bus, or car, but especially liked that we didn't have to pay extra to park our car at the apartment like you (email hidden) hotels. There were people in the lower level of the apartment a couple nights we were there. They were not loud but I was aware when they came home at night. We left at 6AM for the airport and we hoped they didn't hear us when we clunked down the stairs with all our luggage. Overall we loved the apartment, location, etc. and hope we can rent this same place again in a year or two!
Erick was incredibly prompt with replying anytime we had concerns or questions about anything and made us feel so welcome during our stay! The photos in the listing accurately portray this beautiful, bright, and spacious apartment - and the view from the deck was fabulous! It was cooler at night so we used the fireplace most nights for a cozy night in, which was such a treat! The neighborhood was quiet and just a half mile walk to downtown Sausalito! We also did a hike to the Golden Gate bridge from here that was so picturesque and wonderful (we walked to the middle of the bridge & back, and the walk was 6.5 miles roundtrip). This was the perfect location to see the surrounding nature (Muir Woods, Napa, Headlands, etc), and a quick 20 minute drive into San Francisco as well! I can't say enough wonderful things about our trip and look forward to coming back to stay here again!
My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway and were very pleased to find this well lit and nicely furnished home. The location is an easy walk between the downtown and the Golden Gate Bridge. We were treated to beautiful weather which allowed us fantastic views of the sunrise from the patio. Relaxing.
Appartement idealement situé avec vue magnifique sur la baie de San Francisco. A recommandé.
