Spectacular family home with incredible Mountain views. Fully loaded. Sleeps up to 12 with 5 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths.
Superb contemporary mountain home designed by award winning architect Nathan Glassman. It is finished to the very highest standard and at an elevation of just over 9,000 feet it has one of the best views in Colorado! The house swept the board in 7 out of 8 categories in the 2017 Summit County Parade of Homes.
This is an incredible home, I promise you will not be disappointed!
The space
The house is PERFECT for FAMILIES and MODEST GROUPS looking for a quiet relaxing break any time of the year. The house is situated in a peaceful scattered neighborhood facing south and west on the side of Ptarmigan mountain and has 5,500 sq foot of internal space and 3 external patios to allow everybody to enjoy their time.
There are 4 large king-sized bedrooms plus a cool bunk room with a den that sleeps an additional 7 to 8. The bunk room is best suited for younger people. Each of the beds has memory foam mattresses for maximum comfort and a great night's sleep Please note, we are RESTRICTED to a MAXIMUM OF 12 GUESTS by local ordnance
The house is NOT SUITABLE for PARTIES or for LARGE GROUPS looking for a party house and ON AIRBNB WE CAN NOT HOLD WEDDINGS due to Airbnb's global ban.
The house is fully equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. There is:
- a hot-tub with beautiful views which seats 8
- a fully equipped state of the art kitchen with views to die for
- a stunning formal room with great views and a magnificent fireplace
- a family room for the kids with TV and a bar (for older kids only!)
- 4.5 bathrooms
- 3 external patios one with table seating and an external patio with a grill (used at guests’ own risk)
- a large garage with table tennis (there is no garage parking - please park vehicles outside on the driveway)
- a steam room in the master bedroom
- a large TV in the family room and master bedroom. View with streaming services, there is no cable service.
- Sonos music system in the main rooms
- 100mbs WIFI
- a beautiful water feature in summer and the house is surrounded by alpine flowers.
- a laundry room and 2 large washers and 2 large driers (if you really want to do you laundry on vacation!)
- an office space for those that must work
We are also situated in a spectacular part of Colorado and all seasons are incredible and outdoor activities abound. The winter is a wonderland with access to all winter sports, Christmas lights and cozy fireplaces. The summer is in many ways even more beautiful and opens up many stunning golf course – Raven Club just across the valley, water sports in Lake Dillon, and 100s of miles of safe vehicle-free tarmacked bike trails for road cycling, and world class downhill mountain biking. Spring and Fall are gorgeous for the changing light, and colors in the trees.
Guest access
Guests have access to all parts of the house with very minor exceptions for the owner' storage.
The kitchen should also be well equipped with spices, coffee, oil and condiments etc. Please feel to use these but please replace at least what you use so that there is something left for the next guests.
We apologize, but local Ordnance restricts guests from bringing or parking RVS, TRAILERS or ATV onto the property at any time.

PLEASE READ THESE IN FULL. Please be aware that by accepting a booking and by renting this house you accept without reservation the all the terms and specifically those in bold towards the bottom.
- This house is restricted to a MAXIMUM OF 12 GUESTS
- PARTIES and WEDDINGS are NOT ALLOWED due to a global ban implemented by Airbnb
- Only those guests listed in the reservation are allowed within the house
- There is a maximum parking for 4 vehicles at the property
- Park only on the driveway within the property line and not near the fire hydrants or in the garage
- On-street parking is not allowed on Aerie Drive or other local roads (there is local off street parking away from the house)
- ATVs, trailers and RVs are not to be parked on the property at any time
- All guests must follow the Good Neighbor Guidelines (see posted separately)
Importantly:
- Avoid excessive noise and loud music in the evenings and when outside, specifically when in the hot-tub.
- Please keep noise in the hot-tub low after 6pm and no hot-tub use after 9pm.
- The community has a quiet period between 9pm and 7am
- this house is NOT to be used by PARTIES LOOKING FOR A PARTY HOUSE

If the Responsible Agent is called out and there is a genuine, non-trivial problem, then the Town of Silverthorne can impose severe penalties on the owners. So please avoid this.

Close to some of worlds best skiing at Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin and Copper Mountain. All between 15 and 25 minutes away. For a great day out or world class skiing Vail is just 40 away. Just 5 minutes from the outlets at Silverthorne with all the well known brands, and close to Frisco for festivals, shops and café life style. The house offers the best of both worlds, it is peaceful and away from it all, yet moments away from great activities, restaurants, music festivals and shopping. Under 90 minutes from Denver International Airport.

Originally from the UK I grew up in the Peak District near Manchester and then moved to central London only minutes walk from the river Thames, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. I moved to Houston, Texas in 2011 and then fell in love with Colorado. I love the mountains in both Summer and Winter and can't imagine a better spot than our home in Silverthorne which we use for friends and family.
