Welcome to The Port City Nest, an Airbnb gem in Portland! This two-bedroom apartment offers vintage charm, cozy beds, and a private balcony. Just a 5-min walk to downtown and 15 mins to the Old Port, it's in a prime location for exploring Portland's shops, cafes, and restaurants. Please note that this 2nd-floor walk-up may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. No matter what brings you to Portland, our comfortable and inviting space provides the perfect home base for your stay!

The space
This is a gorgeous two-bedroom apartment with a private balcony and full kitchen. **We are SUPER KID FRIENDLY** Having travelled with our small kids we have many amenities that we wish we had when we travelled - STROLLER, HIGH CHAIR, BABY BATH, SOUND MACHINE, PACK & PLAY, BABY BOUNCER, TOYS, BOOKS, BIBS etc.

You'll also love the classic architectural features like tin ceilings, columns, and a fireplace/mantle. Enjoy a comfortable night's sleep on the queen-size memory foam mattress in one bedroom and a traditional inner-spring queen mattress in the other. We also offer a small "Yoga Room" for morning workouts or relaxation.

With a dedicated parking space, your arrivals and departures by car will also be a breeze!

Guest access
The building entrances and stairwells (front and back) are shared with the other apartments in the building, but The Port City Nest apartment is accessed through a private door on the second floor.

Other things to note
**Please note we are a strictly no-pet property** While we absolutely adore animals we are not currently set up to accommodate them.

We are Francine and Greg, hailing from Ireland and Central Maine, respectively, and we're the hosts of the Port City Nest and Port City Oasis in Portland, Maine, and the Laughton House and Cottages at Pemaquid Beach. After getting married in 2016, we left our home in North Carolina and set off on an adventure around the world that led us back to Maine where Greg has his roots. Now our life adventure continues with our silly toddler, Finn, and a commitment to providing our guests with an enjoyable stay in Portland and Pemaquid Beach. We highly value our guests and want everyone who stays in our Airbnbs to feel at home during their stay. We are also polite, courteous, and very respectful of other people's homes when we're the guests.
