We hope you enjoy your stay at Puy Navard
We were greeted warmly and made very welcome on arrival and shown where everything was in the house - and they had provided all the little useful things that anyone could have thought of. The 'welcome pack' was very generous and thoughtful.
The Gite is absolutely as pretty as shown on the website, with table and chairs to sit at outside, front and back, sun loungers and cushions provided.
We enjoyed a very peaceful week - the only noise you can hear is birds chattering and the rustle of the banana tree leaves! It was great to have somewhere comfortable and relaxing, indoors and out, where we could totally 'switch off'.
Chris and Pat are friendly hosts, without being intrusive. They had lots of information about the area - although we deliberately lazed about enjoying the quiet instead of exploring. But there are lots of pretty villages and towns, chateaux and caves to visit - helpful leaflets and guides are in the house. Also lots of books to borrow, wifi and English TV (I feel guilty going abroad and then watching tv.. but I confess to watching Doctor Who...).
We had a wonderful stay at Puy Navard. Pat and Chris were delightful, generous hosts who really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The gite was extremely clean and tidy, and very well equipped. We felt right at home! The region is gorgeous and Pat and Chris had great suggestions about where we could go with our two young boys to make the most of our vacation. I truly hope we can make it back for another stay at this lovely gite with Pat and Chris.
L'accueil était correct, mais dès la visite du gîte, nous avons été déçus par l'odeur de renfermé et de moisissure.
Le gîte est bien équipé et l'environnement est rural et paisible.
Pat &Chris were lovely hosts. They left a welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. The gite is in a lovely quiet location, beautiful scenic walks along country roads with rarely seeing a car. I would highly recommend Pat &Chris's gite.
Pat and Chris were excellent hosts. They had an amazing welcoming pack of food for us. The best thing for us was having the babies bed and the wonderful toys for the little ones. We loved their place and enjoyed sitting outside sharing life stories over the wonderful French wines. We also loved the region, one of our favourite so far in France.
Our stay at Pat and Chris' gite was perfect! Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the cottage was very well appointed and supplied with all our needs. The location was quietly rural, but there were many attractions within an hour for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. It was convenient to the many prehistoric caves with their fabulous cave art paintings and etchngs. We would definitely return to their gite.
We had a lovely stay in Pat and Chris's cottage. As the other reviews have all said, the cottage has all the amenities you could need and is charming We particularly enjoyed sitting out in the back garden and watching for the deer in the evening. There is plenty to see around the local area and we really enjoyed the local villages and chateux. Pat and Chris were very helpful with suggestions of local attractions and sites. Highly recommended.
About the Host, Pat And Chris
