  • My boyfriend and I had a great time at Cliff and Linda's for our first time in Bend! They were such hospitable hosts and Ollie, their dog, greeted us warmly when we arrived. The room was very private with a beautiful backyard and fire pit. They have a gorgeous home!

  • Cliff and Linda were doting hosts, providing a nicely appointed space with convenient access through a separate entrance. The breakfast offerings were an added bonus, making a trip to the grocery store unnecessary. Cliff and Linda provide a true bed and breakfast experience!

  • What a sweet and cozy place! We stayed at Cliff and Linda's for 12 days. It was better than we expected from a room rental. Everything is super clean, just like the photos and description, very accurate. It's so private and peaceful, own entrance, private master bathroom, and spacious closet. The in-room refrigerator and fireplace are big bonuses. The laundry room is just next to the bedroom. All of these amenities made our 12-day stay so convenient and homy. We love to sit on the easy chairs to read and relax, after all day long skiing, hiking, exploring. Very safe and peaceful neighborhood. Our little Norwich loves the trails around. Cliff and Linda are very nice and sweet couple. We enjoyed the conversations with them. They really respected our privacy as well. We appreciate of everything they provided. Very likely, they will see us again.

    January 2014
  • Cliff and Linda were fantastic hosts; friendly and very accommodating.
Their home was very clean, comfortable and centrally located. It's the perfect "home base" for exploring the area. I can't say enough good things about Cliff and Linda and my stay with them- they treated me like family. I'd definitely recommend a stay there.
-Should you be lucky enough to get an invite to one of Linda's famous spaghetti dinners, you just hit the jackpot!

  • Cliff and Linda's room was awesome!!! Large, clean and very relaxing place to stay, wish we could have stayed there longer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Cliff and Linda were very friendly and couldn't seem to do enough for us. They were excellent hosts, can't say enough good things about them.

We would DEFINITELY stay there again.

  • Wonderful stay at Cliff and Linda'--they were great hosts for us, full of local info and we had several engaging and enjoyable conversations on many subjects,

Very comfortable room, particularly appreciated the separate entrance and double sinks in bathroom. Excellent towels and linens, comfy bed and the breakfasts were all we could ask for, choice of bagels, croissants, oatmeal and even organic freshly squeezed OJ from Costco!

Would gladly return if our travels bring us back to Bend.....

    October 2013
  • Very clean, comfortable, and friendly! We had a lovely stay. We enjoyed the fire pit and sitting on the patio, coffee was always hot, bed was comfortable, news papers and event listings were all available, Cliff and Linda were friendly and welcoming.

  • Wonderfully nice neighborhood to explore Bend and the surrounding area from. Convenient to everything in the area. Far enough outside of Bend to be quiet in the evening. The room was quiet and secluded with a great bathroom. The private patio on the back was nice to enjoy a quick bit of fresh. The breakfast every morning had a bunch of options - toast, bagels, cereals, oatmeals, pastries, hot tea, coffee, and more! Cliff and Linda were super nice. They provided local advice, newspapers and magazines, and recommendations for local sights. Great place to stay!

    October 2013
  • My husband and I stayed in the Relaxing Room with Cliff and Linda for 2 nights during our trip. They defiantly went the extra mile to make sure our stay was amazing! Our room was very comfortable and had lots of space. We had our own refrigerator and a nice size bathroom with a walk in closet. The patio out back was very enjoyable as well. Breakfast was great each morning, they provided bagels, croissants, fruit, cereal, and oatmeal. We would recommend their house and would stay with them again in a heart beat!

We have been married for 37 years and have lived in wonderful Bend for 12 years and hosting on Airbnb over two years now! We enjoy living so close to everything Bend has to offer, everything is at our fingertips here! It’s just the right sized town, five to ten minutes or less gets you to so many things that Bend has to offer, about two miles to beautiful Downtown Bend, Drake Park on the River, The Old Mill, and many other great places to go for wide varieties of things to do. We also have parks, shops, restaurants, trails, and more, even closer to home. (See our guidebook / maps for a sample) We take our dog “Ollie” to beautiful Riverbend Park where he can play fetch and swim in the River with his buddies, across from the Old Mill and hang out at the large grass areas there watching people float, raft, or paddle the river in many interesting ways. It’s a great place to eat lunch or dinner and relax and I love to hike from there up along the river trail (see photo), you can hike several miles along the river and see many interesting sites along the way, it is just a fantastic experience that is so close to home. As if there weren’t enough great things to see and do right here in town, when you venture out of town a whole other world opens up. There isn’t enough room on the page to describe it all. (We have brochures, literature, and maps with great photographs that you can browse for hours here in your room while you are relaxing and settling in for your stay.) Our cat “Woody" is hanging around the house, or not, but always comes in for food when he feels like it. A hike up to the top of Pilot Butte is something I like to do to keep in shape and enjoy the 360 degree panoramic vistas. It looks like a long way away to the top from our house but you can walk there and back in about an hour and enjoy the best views of the city, mountains, and forest as far as the eye can see (500 ft elevation gain). It’s a good way to start the day or for a great sunset. Or you can drive up in a couple of minutes. (Spring, Summer, Fall). So, we love our pets, Linda loves to cook, and we love to garden and landscape, design & decorate. We like to just hang out at different sitting areas around the house and play fetch with Ollie again. We have made some great friends and had many good times hosting on Airbnb over the last two years and are looking forward to this year! It has been an enriching and rewarding experience for us and many of our guests tell us the same thing. We always enjoy meeting people from around the country, and the globe! “Enjoy, Live, Relax, give back" We try to keep it simple!
