Interaction with Guests

Im generally always present in the city while the guests stay at home, I live around the area, soy you will not have trouble in asking any petitions and needs!

The Neighborhood

This part of Palermo is a bit flashier than other parts of town, but still has that bohemian feel we all associate with Palermo. The radio stations and production studios that conduct their business here have also helped give birth to many fancier parrilla-styled restaurants, higher-end ethnic food and some more upscale bars. These places can really fill up Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, so plan ahead.

When you walk around Palermo Hollywood you might notice that features more of the old, Spanish-style architecture than other areas of the city, and also that there aren’t many high buildings apart from newer apartment towers. That’s because for a long time there was a law prohibiting new buildings in the area from being above nine meters in height. The combination of low houses, wide streets and trees lends it a nice ambiance.

With its huge abundance of restaurants and bars, Palermo Hollywood offers you options, options, options for every night of the week. Somewhat surprisingly with all this nightlife it’s also leafy, quiet and relaxed, so it makes a brilliant place to live.

  • We loved staying in Lucia's adorable apartment. Great neighborhood, too. Thank you for everything.

  • I stayed here when in Buenos Aires for a spring break trip. The apartment is in a nice section of Palermo with restaurants/nightlife and subway (Mstr. Carrannza stop) all within a 10 min walk. The building is well-kept, and the apartment itself is bright, well-laid out, and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • Lucia furnished her loft in a very trendy and pleasantful way, that made us really feel comfortable. A very good location in Palermo and an easy access to the Subte are an outstanding feature of this house. A very warm advise to try it and the kindness of Lucia! Ciao roberto

  • Lucia was an amazing host! It was my first time using airbnb and I was a bit nervous about it all but Lucia stayed in contact with me and promptly responded to my emails. The location is fantastic. I travelled on my own and the neighbourhood was so safe and easy to get around. Cabs everywhere and so cheap. Well in Aussie dollars anyway! Buenos Aires is a humid place so the aircon was a great help. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone that is thinking of renting Lucias apartment.

  • What a fabulous place! We really liked Lucia's home and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The neighborhood was lovely, and filled with lots of great bars and restaurants. Also very close to the subtle, which we took full advantage of. Thanks Lucia!

  • Lucia's apartment is muy linda!! It is exactly how they look in the pictures and her creative design eye made it a fun place to stay. The loft space, high ceilings, and large window let in a lot of natural sunlight during the day and the apartment is conveniently located to cafes and restaurants.

Lucia is very easy to communicate with and I am glad we met. I recommend staying here for your time in Palermo!

  • I really enjoyed meeting Lauren and her husband Matt. They stayed for 2 days, so got to know the area a bit and see some of the beauty of the Central Coast. They were both very appreciative and easy-going, which made hosting them gratifying and effortless, like a dance we hadn’t rehearsed. Lauren has a sweet and cheerful personality that nice to be around, and I would definitely recommend them both as guests.

  • Estuvimos pasando unos días muy agradables en Buenos Aires en Navidad, y la casa de Lucía contribuyó a ello. Cómoda, bonita y muy bien situada. Todo tal cual está planteado en la página.

  • Lucia's place is better than the pictures, literally every detail is perfect and adorable! She was very helpful in our arrangements and suggested some great restaurants for us to try. The area is cute and her place is walking distance to bars and restaurants (just a couple blocks to our favorite La Miranda & Olsen). There's also a market across the street that has any amenities and food you may need. Highly recommend staying here!

About
Im a grahic designer and work at an animation producing company in Buenos Aires. I am a very restless person, concerned and interested in everything that catches my attention. Creativity accompanies me throughout my daily life. Photography, painting, illustration, nice food, music, yoga, skiing are some of my favorite tastes. One of the things that gives me more gratitude in life is to travel and meet people from different places. Therefore, I endorse the idea of pleasing others with the same thing I'd like to be given when I travel.
