Nawwaf was very welcoming, we had great conversations and he taught me about the Bedouin and Islamic culture. I would recommend to anyone who does need hotel level comfort.
this was a perfect place to stay visiting Petra! Away from the touristy area in a comfortable real Bedouin home. Nawwaf was extremely accommodating. We got turned around in our rental car and he was easy to call and help us find his cozy home. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinner he made us, especially that he made vegetarian food for me and chicken for my boyfriend. His guest room is the largest room we stayed in in all of Jordan. He has a strong pride in his country and we loved talking to him about Jordan and Bedouin culture. He also is a professional tour leader so if you have more time than we did I'd recommend contacting him about desert tours.
Nawwaf is a very kind and social man. It was freezing cold here but de warm bedoin blanket, hot tea and fun conversation kept us warm.
A modest accommodation but Nawaaf makes the effort to improve the conditions as much according to his ability.
Was welcomed with traditional Bedouin tea, pitas and some olives, and Nawaaf gave us a great introduction about the Bedouin tribe.
Shower wasn't working on the day we arrived but Nawaaf ensured it got done by the next day. As the weather was too cold for us to bear, he gave us more blankets, and if we wanted, we could have the portable heater too.
A good experience to understand how modern Bedouin live
We had a great stay at Nawwaf's home! He was so welcoming and kind and made everything comfortable for us. Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening and had to depart early the next morning so we were not able to spend as much time as we would have liked, but Nawwaf was flexible and accommodating with our schedule. Thank you Nawwaf and hope to come back again!
Excellent experience staying with Nawwaf. When I arrived, he offered excellent tea and told wonderful stories. You'll get all the information you can ask for about Petra and Wadi Rum. Enjoy your stay.
It was great. We were making last minute plans for our visit to Jordan and needed a place to spend the night in Petra. Nawwaf is so nice and knowledgeable! It would have been great if we had planned to stay even longer.
He showed our driver the way from Petra Visitor Center/Moevenpick Hotel up to his home. Our tea glasses were never empty. We ate an amazing dinner prepared by Nawwaf himself. He helped us get around. And it was fun staying up talking with Nawwaf.
You should definitely ask him for tips on what to do and see. We probably wouldn't have seen Little Petra without his recommendation. Its a short walk from his house and nice to explore with a fraction of the people.
