My husband and I stayed about a week in Marrakech for our honeymoon. We had such an amazing time at this riad! It was nice to have it all to ourselves, but would also be a great place to come with another couple. It was so beautiful, with lovely tilework and furnishings that made even lounging around at home feel like you were still experiencing something! The location was perfect - you are right inside the medina and very close to djemaa el fna, but far enough from the action to relax. The riad is very quiet. We didn't meet Karim, but Aziza the manager was there waiting when we arrived and is very nice. The housekeeper, Koboura, is the sweetest woman ever. Despite a language barrier she was so kind, and when I got sick she asked if I could eat some soup if she made it! A light breakfast is always included, but plan to have at least one other meal made by her - she's a fantastic cook and her tagine was the best we had on our vacation! Last but not least, one of the best people we met in all of Morocco was our driver, Kamal. Besides the airport transfers, we also arranged to have him take us to the Atlas Mountains and Essaouira for a day each. He taught us so much about Morocco and Marrakech (as well as other parts of the world since he meets people from all over in his profession!) and was just such a nice guy. We plan on returning to Marrakech and we will absolutely be returning to either this or another of Karim's riads.

The perfect place - easy to walk everywhere and even though the street outside is full of life, the house is quiet and peaceful. Kapura made beautiful breakfasts - pancakes and fruit each day and the house was clean, beautiful and comfortable, with much needed air conditioning in the bedrooms. We also booked lunch cooked by Kapura on arrival and that was delicious - the perfect start to the holiday. I would definitely stay again.

It was a nice and lovely stay. They helped us to organise everything we needed. I would recommend this place.

It is a good place for a family or a group of friends, the price is quite reasonable, the breakfast is included. And I do like the lovely and kind hearted butler. She helped us to search for milk in the morning at Ramadan, even though we could not communicate because of the language issue. And the location is inside the medina, we walked to almost all the sightseeing places. However I have to say the smell of the toilet is not good. Besides, if floors and carpet are cleaner, everything would be perfect then.

The house is beautiful, spacious and well located in the medina. The meals and breakfasts are a great service. A detailed map of Marrakech is indispensible to find your way to the house. The only drawback of the house was the sewage smell in the bathroom.

Well located, comfortable place to stay. We opted to have Kaboura make us dinner one night, and it was very delicious! A great stay, thankyou!

Riad Salam was wonderful: from the pre-arranged taxi pick up at the airport, to the friendly goodbye from Karim a day before our early morning departure. The apartment was very spacious for two, and would have no problems accommodating four. The highlight for us was Kaboura, the lovely lady who welcomed us at the riad with hot mint tea, prepared breakfast, cooked the most wonderful dinners - make sure you try her home-cooked meals at least once, and just makes you feel truly welcome. The terrace was a good feature for sunny days. Communication was fast and efficient. And finally, the riad is in a wonderful location for sightseeing the city: close enough to walk to the souks and other central landmarks, but located on a quiet street tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here.
