We very much enjoyed our stay in Erick's apartment, as it made a perfect jumping-off spot for exploring Sausalito. It's within easy walking distance of the main part of town, without being in the midst of the busy tourist areas. The view of the Bay (and downtown SF in the distance) from the back deck is incredible! One note: If you're a light sleeper, you may be impacted by the thin walls within the unit and the ceiling from the guests/tenants above.
Erick's apartment was perfect in size and accommodations. The rooms were clean and void of unnecessary clutter. The view out the front was outstanding as it overlooked the San Francisco Bay and beyond.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The views are spectacular and the place is very comfortable and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Thank you Eric for the suggestions for places to eat. The location was ideal. Quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the center of town. Will certainly recommend this place.
This apartment we fine and it adequately met our needs. My parents, girlfriend, and I stayed for two nights in Erick's place and there weren't any major complaints.
The bathroom had seen better days. While it wasn't dirty, the shower could use some updating and rust removal. We were provided with an adequate amount of shampoo and body wash, and enough towels.
The bedrooms were a good size for two people and there were plenty of hangers in the closets. The beds weren't the most comfortable beds ever and ours had the tendency to roll around when getting in and out. Not terrible though.
The highlight of this place was definitely the kitchen/porch area. While we were not greeted by chocolate and wine, like in the pictures, we did enjoy the sunny porch overlooking the bay and our final breakfast in Sausalito was very pleasurable indeed. The stove was very nice and the knives were decent quality. There could have been more mugs and glasses, but it's probably good not to have too many, since there's no dishwasher. Also, we needed to scrub some of the pans before using them because there was still some crud on them.
The location is fine. It's not exactly in the center of town, but a ten-minute walk will get you to downtown Sausalito and there is a neighborhood market around the corner where you can buy bagels, avocados, and $7 orange juice. We drove to Napa Valley, Muir Woods, and Reyes National Seashore from this location.
Overall, this place is fine and the price is reasonable.
