From Sep 8 - 27, 2015 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
Great location, we walked everywhere other than a few bike rides too. Very quiet except for one night where another airbnb customer wasn't following rules but clearly that was a rarity. The apartment layout was perfect for our needs although I didn't plan to cook on vacation. Crazy thing is that if we had visited the most amazing farmers market aka mall at the start of the week, I would've used the nice kitchen!!! Omg! Don't miss that market early in your stay!!!! Wish we could've met our host when we stayed as that would've been fun. Parking wasn't really an issue as we usually were out all day and not in need of parking when it wasn't allowed on the street. Really not different in Anchorage Alaska or DC... Thank you for the fun!
Charming apartment in a SUPER location. We walked to Vieux Quebec easily every day with our kids, aged 7 and 10. We enjoyed being just that much removed from the tourist crush inside the walls. Good neighbourhood restaurants and grocery store (and gelato shop) only a block away. The apartment was clean and well-equipped; pictures are accurate. Good value for a family. Thanks for a great stay.
This was our very first airbnb experience and Geneviève made it a very positive one. Accessing the apartment was easy. The location was AMAZING!! We're a family of four and everything was walkable. The apartment itself was very clean and comfy. We hope to stay here again the next time we visit Quebec City.
Geneviéve's apartment was the perfect location for exploring Old Québec - close to everything and plenty of space for retiring after a long day of walking. We appreciated the parking tips and easy communication with our host - thank you!
Place was exactly what was detailed in the description.
The little guest book was great to thumb through and get some pointers for places to go. The apartment was large and charming. We barely stayed inside of the house beyond sleeping.
The apartment was centrally located between the old Quebec and new Quebec which made finding dinner all that easier. We ate Swiss restaurant(La Grolla) that was actually comparable with Swiss food, and not a crappy "Melting Pot"
As for the city it was like going back to Europe. Walking around everywhere and finding a cup of coffee at a cafe as the city woke up were amazing. I advise people to walk the old city, but also to walk around the end of town there was real sense of community and not just a tourist stop.
This is by far not a negative comment, but to all people not familiar with Quebec City driving be patient and make sure you have a place to park already planned, there is a place a few blocks up under one of the hotels that was perfect.
The apartment is exactly as described; charming and close to everything. We enjoyed our stay at Genevieve's apartment and the thorough instructions she left to guide us, which really made it so easy for us to navigate around. Thank you Genevieve!
Spacious, charming, and bright, the apartment is not only close to everything (groceries? two minute walk. Bars? two minute walk. Old Town? Five minute walk. Honestly, every time we had wandered around we somehow ended up back near the apartment! Perfect location, could not be better.) It's also somehow on a quiet street, where after your long day of wandering about the old cobbled avenues, you can really rest.
Little touches pepper the place with a warmth and hominess that you don't generally encounter away from home.
Geneviève was a most gracious host, who genuinely went above and beyond during my stay - it's a phrase that gets tossed around a lot, but here there isn't really another to use in this case!
