Our cool and comfortable 2 bedroom with contemporary and ecclectic designs has a true city feeling, and is secluded by a large park and is just steps from Manhattan skyline. SEVEN minute drive to the outlet stores. Parking. Near nightlife, NYC, FUN.
This living room also contains not only 2 LARGE chairs you can curl up in, but also a modular (pictured) ottoman that is a twin bed when unfolded.
This two bedroom condo is charming and well appointed with decor that is enlivening to the soul. If you like ecclectic and chic, this place is for you. Why spend time across the river in Manhattan and fuss with the other Superbowl travelers who'll be creating traffic jams to get through the tunnel? You'll already be on the other side and will be at the stadium in 5 minutes!
NOTE: Each bedroom has a Euro-size TWIN antique bed from a Paris flea market. Euro twins are more narrow than American twins. Just fyi so you aren't caught off guard.
You'll have access to the laundry room and bicycles. Both are found in the lower level of the building. You will have 2 keys: 1 to gain entrance to the building, and the other to gain entrance into the apartment. In addition, there is an alarm, and the alam fob will be located by the door, as you walk into the apartment.
Interaction with Guests
For stays where we co-share the space, our interaction will be minimal. I'll be there, most likely, to just check you in and say 'hello' and to show you around. I'll most likely see you at the end of your trip and wish you safe travels.
The other interaction we'll have is via phone or facetime, in the event you have a question about something or need directions to a place. I live on top of a cliff, so there may be stores that are nearby, but they may be located directly below, along the water, so the map or GPS may be confusing.
I LOVE the park, pond, and running trails in the neighborhood! My condo is literally across the street from this expansive park. The neighborhood is quiet, the air is clean, and there is no noise or exhaust pollution.
NJ Bus service is outside the door of the condo building and this bus takes you to Hoboken, where you can spend time in a mile square town that seated right across from Manhattan. From Hoboken, you can book a ferry ride over to Manhattan, or take the PATH train there. In addition, back at the superbowl condo, the NJ Bus stop to Manhattan is 1 block from the condo building, at 79th & Boulevard East. If you drive, you may park in the neighborhood, and I'll provide you a guest parking permit for your vehicle.
Other Things to Note
Towels and sheets will be provided.
I use Apple TV (no cable) and I subscribe to both Hulu Plus and Netflix. If you have an iTunes account, you can rent movies as well. There is wifi and you can plug directly into the router, if you require a higher speed internet connection.
Be mindful of the delicate decorative items throughout (even in my 10 year old son's room), and just look but don't touch the paintings or artwork on the wall.
NO SMOKING AT ALL IN THE APARTMENT.
Stay here and you could give this host their first review!
When I worked for corporate America, I had to travel alot. I preferred to stay at bed and breakfasts, if they were close to my meeting destination. I truly liked the "home-like" atmosphere, and I felt more connected to people I met, as I enjoyed learning a bit about them while we munched on breakfast together. As a host, my intention is to create this type of atmosphere for you (except I will not be cooking), and I only ask that you be open to who you are, respect the space in which you will reside temporarily (as I raise my 10 year old son in this space and I use it to create a wonderful life) and that you keep it lovely for those who will visit after you. When I travel to other places, I prefer to have fresh fruits and veggies with me, and it's awfully difficult to preserve in a hotel room. Also, I am generally working, so being in a comfortable space to do so is ideal for me, which is why I like BnBs. Cheers!
