Iconic mountain farmhouse nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains. This recently renovated artist's home is the perfect balance of contemporary design and rustic charm with local artwork and antiques throughout. A clear, bold mountain creek runs just outside the front door filling the entire home with the calm, soothing sounds of rushing water. Surrounded by a large yard and forest lands the house offers outdoor enthusiasts a sanctuary of sounds and sights. Just 50 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Comfy living room features a gas fireplace, 4K smart TV, BluRay player, movie library, couch and chairs for relaxing after a day's exploring.

Upstairs bedroom features a king sized bed, small couch suitable for a child and a rollaway bed as well as en-suite bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower.

One of the downstairs bedrooms has a queen bed and the other an antique 3/4 sized bed. Sleeps 1 with lots of room or two who like to snuggle. Downstairs bathroom features a clawfoot tub/shower and is shared between the 2 downstairs bedrooms.

Living room couch has a seamless cushion and can accommodate one adult.

Outdoor stone patio features a gas grill and firepit for your enjoyment. Firewood and fire starter is provided.

The house is located in the Pensacola community, south of Burnsville nestled in the Black Mountain chain in the shadow of Mount Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Rockies. Located approx 8 miles south of Burnsville, approx 50 minutes from Asheville, NC.

Easy access to hiking including the Black Mountain Crest Trail, Big Butt Trail and more. Excellent level valley road popular for road biking follows the scenic cane river.

Mt Mitchell is less than a mile from the barn as the crow flies but is an approx 45 minute drive as the roads go up and around the Black Mountains to get to Mt Mitchell from the south.

Only 15 miles from the nationally rated Navitat Zip line adventures in Barnardsville.

Burnsville is host to an excellent community of artists and the world renowned Penland School of Crafts is only 22 miles away.
