Absolutely stunning two bedroom villa, a few steps to the beach (kudeta), restaurants of eat street and to the hip new club ,townhouse'. Quiet neighborhood. Unique design, private pool, jacuzzi, huge sunken living room, cinema full staff and kitchen.
The location, the rate, the design, the beauty and kindness of our staff are all unbeatable. The villa has two big air conditioned bedrooms and can easily fit 2 extra beds, so 6 in total.
Wi-Fi, cinema with DVD and cable TV, jacuzzi, private pool, full staff

Ketut, our villa manager will help with reservations, questions or rentals.
Just perfect, tucked in between very upmarket villas and Balinese houses and temples , 150m to beach, 300m to restaurants and clubs
Almost everything possible by walking but easy and cheap to find taxis
Other Things to Note
The huge window into the living room. The great food prepared by Pak Dewi.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great vila, great staff and the best location. we will definitely be staying again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Sampan. Katut ensured we were welcomed and was there for any needs that we had throughout the stay. Made (chef) was fantastic - providing delicious food and a great insight into the Balinese way of life. The villa itself is beautiful and conveniently located with street markets and Ku De Ta very close by.
Very good location. Good service and staff were easily contactable. It was handy we could trust the staff to lock doors after we left etc.
The villa is nice / funky but also very much a beach villa. Don't expect high luxury.
But it is good value considering the design.
Great looking place, but a bit overpriced as compared to other area options.
Amazing villa! My family and I were absolutely blown away.. The photos don't do it justice. The villa is huge and an architectural and design spectacle. The service was top notch and the breakfast provided was probably the best meals we had in bali. The villa is centrally located only footsteps to Ku Da Ta and Seminyak Square. Can't wait till we come back!
For a number of reasons we felt the listing was way overpriced. Villa Sampan looked nice at first glance, but not as nice as the pictures or the other villas in the complex. There were cigarette butts in the garden, the dirt between the outdoor tiles covered your feet every time you attempted to go out for a swim, making it less desire able to use the outdoor space. The aircon struggled to even take the edge off. The living space was very hot and humid and when we got a breeze it was perfumed by the sewer that we overlooked. Made, the cook, was great and was the highlight. Ketut was lovely. The apartment was rundown and dirty- check the DVD area and ledges, etc. it seems only the basic cleaning and linen change are ever done. There were empty beer bottles under the sink and the cloth used to wash the dishes was the oldest, dirtiest piece of rag. the roosters hanging around the sewer crowed non-stop. There is no privacy. Staff come and go as they pleased either through the main door or through the adjoining garden door, and you never knew who was going to walk in. At one point we had 3 men in the garden, The chef cooking in the kitchen and the cleaner wanting to clean. Also, other staff would just walk in and borrow utensils, and even food (butter) out of the fridge to use in other apartments. We felt we could never let our guard down as you never knew who was going to walk in. We had a full day without power or water and there was no backup so you couldn't even use the toilets- had to head into town to find a bathroom. We Couldn't wait to leave. The location was handy and we felt safe with the security. It's better to use metered cabs as the trips ketut wanted to organise we're way overpriced. BTW it's only about A$8 by cab to and from the airport.
