Thanks Kim and Bruce...wonderful home, wonderful hosts. Can't go wrong staying with you both!
This was our second stay with Kim and Bruce and it was even better than the first! It's so wonderful to wake up in their lovely home and sit and have coffee and breakfast in their beautiful sunroom. They do everything right and truly care about making your stay comfortable and fun. Highly recommend!
Loved it! Just like staying at a B and B. Quiet, clean, chocolates, water in your room! Lemon water and homemade cookies in the kitchen. Warm, welcoming, funny hosts. Would definitely stay here again.
Kim and Bruce both made us feel very welcome in their home. They had homemade cookies and snacks available when we arrived. There was bottled water and chocolates in the room for us!
Breakfast was very nice with a variety of offerings.
Their home is beautiful and VERY clean! The room was just as it was pictured.
The neighborhood is very nice and safe. We will definitely plan to stay with them again when visiting our daughter in Chapel Hill. I would highly recommend Kim and Bruce as hosts...we enjoyed getting to know them over breakfast :-)
Bruce welcomed Nancy and I when we arrived and carried our bags from the car to our rooms. He showed us where everything was and gave us each a "Welcome' book with house rules, maps, restaurant and shopping suggestions. Kim and Bruce invited us to share their living space with them including the kitchen and family room. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the hosts sat and ate with us, sharing great conversation and advice on things to see and do in the Chapel Hill area. The house is beautiful and all room are just a they appear in the photos. The beds are very comfortable and the house is immaculate! There were many personal touches that made us feel very welcome. Their home is in a very quiet residential neighborhood, good for walking, and just a short drive to UNC campus, shops and restaurants.
Kim and Bruce are wonderful hosts! Upon arrival we were welcomed into their home and provided with yummy snacks and beverages. They both took time to help us find our way around, which was especially helpful since this was our first visit to Chapel Hill. The guest room/area is exactly as pictured/described and pretty much any toiletry you could imagine was available. The best part of our stay was visiting with Kim and Bruce over the coffee and breakfast each morning that they provided. They clearly go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable in any way possible and you’ll leave feeling like old friends!
Kim and her lovely home bear the seal of super host - and for good reason. She has created a wonderful haven for travelers. She has anticipated and prepared for every thing a weary traveler would need. She and her husband love their area, take pride in it, and share it graciously. The whole place is bright, clean, nicely decorated. Breakfast and snacks are offered. Bed is comfy!

About the Host, Kim
My husband, Bruce, and I have been together for 14 wonderful years and knew that we were two peas in a pod upon our first meeting. We love to camp, dine out and travel. We have been fortunate to visit many great places like the E.U., Costa Rica, Canadian Rockies and all of the Caribbean Islands. We hope to see Ireland and Alaska in our near future.
Bruce is a Respiratory Therapist at Duke Hospital and I am an office manager at a rehab company. We do not have children, but we do have four lovable cats.
We love to entertain family, friends and guests who always feel comfortable in our home! From game night to watching the big game on the big screen, we always have a great time!
So come on over, kick your feet up and relax. We would love to host you.
