Annie and Tony were great hosts. The place was very clean and well equipped, and so close to the beach. Because of us staying for more than just a few days they offered to clean the room and gave us fresh linen and towels after the first few days. They even let us use their washing machine. What a lovely stay. We apologise for leaving earlier to move into our own place. Will definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Great little spot to stay. Close to the beach and to shops. Quiet. Near bus routes. N.B. The shower would be challenging for the elderly.

Annie's place is exactly as described and in a great spot. The Mt Maungauni area is beautiful and Annie's place is very close to the beach. The main street is only short drive but also walkable if you're feeling energetic. Definitely recommend staying here and exploring the sights.

Central but secluded location in Mt. Maunganui and very welcoming hosts. You'll get many insider tipps what to do and also a very good selfmade granola for breakfast :)

This was my second visit to the Mount Maunganui beach, and to Annie and Tony's. I think that says it all. They are delightful, and thoughtful, and their guest space has everything you would need, and privacy as well. A very short walk to the incredible beach.

My husband and I moved to Mount Maunganui mid 2013, having lived in Papamoa with our family since 1986. We love this part of the country, it's beautiful bush walks and of course this spectacular beach, and stunning Mauao. We are keen travellers ourselves and love meeting people from different parts of the world, and NZ!
We value having the opportunity to stay with local people and gain local knowledge about the best places to go - so we hope to give others the same.
